The Exile Asylum staff had a meeting & we decided that we needed two websites. We have created ExileAsylum.NET, a network community that has open arms to ALL within the alternative community. You will not be discriminated against here for any reason at all and you will not be outcasted due to your beliefs, lifestyle, religion or lack of, the way you look, how good your photos are, how much you make, or on how many friends you have or don't have. We are working on our Exile Asylum Models website ExileAsylum.COM were our Officially accepted amateur and professional models in the alternative industry will be displayed and promoted with a fierceness.  ExileAsylum.net is for everyone with love for the alternative wishing to support & network within The community to better themselves, their work, gain new contacts and make new friends.

The entire Asylum crew either works or is in college full time. We work on all Asylum matters in our spare time. Due to this there might be a bite of delay in going through & accepting applications.
The reason being is we go through each & every application from top to bottom, read everything, check out any and all links, check out and read the applicants myspace and any other pages they might have  (like modelmayhem.com etc.).
We base our decision of acceptance on many, many things, only one of them being the applicants photo.
Only after carefully going through each application do we make a decision & this is not a process that we rush.
Please do note that you will not receive an acceptance or denial from us 1-2 weeks after you send in your application!

* Anyone chosen to be a Asylum Girl/Guy will be representing our web page. You agree to conduct yourself in a way that is fitting and polite and to keep that in mind while interacting with others on the web page.

* We will only be accepting applicants that portray an image of an alternative look. We here at Exile Asylum encourage you to be creative and original with all your photos and submit a variety as well.

* 5 to 8 photos are needed to apply. Please keep in mind that any submitted photos are for evaluating purposes only. If your application is accepted, you will have control over the photos you upload and delete and you will also be able to upload much more than 5 to 8 photos. Absolutely NO webcam or cellphone photos will be accepted, not even if they are considered good quality. No poorly photoshopped or blurry or over exposed pictures (ie: where you cant see your nose etc.) either please. We also encourage a variety of photos such as different poses, clothing, photo color such as black and whites and saturation variation. You also agree any photos you have submitted are of yourself. Anyone found trying to submit photos that are not of themselves will be removed from qualification and not invited back to participate at any time in the future. No one likes a thief!

* You agree that you will promote Exile Asylum and promote yourself as being an official Asylum Girl/Guy. We will be promoting you each and every day and only ask the same of all our official girls and guys.

We at Exile Asylum are pleased to announce the next phase of our endeavor.

We have been working for several years to build an alternative community based on all that is important to today’s standards of the alternative culture. With the next phase of our commitment to bring you the newest models, music, and updates in your alternative scene we will soon reveal our Exile Asylum web site. The web site will be a fully functioning society where you can interact with our featured models, bands, photographers, fashion designers, and alternative scene celebrities. As a member of the Exile Asylum website you will be able to create your own profile with your featured images, and receive discounts on soon to be released Exile Asylum fashions and styles from our featured designers.

The Exile Asylum website is almost completly constructed and about ready to be launched. However, since this is a community based project it will require the assistance of the community to unveil the web site. Exile Asylum needs your help!

We were eager to release the Exile Asylum website by the new year, but we cannot find the funds to pay for the completion when providing a free service. We would like to have the community accessible to you as soon as possible yet ask that you aid in the speedy delivery of the final phase of our mission we have been working on for years i.e. Exile Asylum Website.

We now require the help of donations to bring this alternative convergence to life. To complete our journey total web services require $1,000. Exile Asylum has set up a donation button for all those who wish to contribute to the unleashing of our new web commune. We understand economic times are tough, this is why we don’t request preset donation amounts and truly appreciate all those who understand the frustrations of working with in a volunteer based organization. We dedicate all of our time aside from our regular “day” jobs, family, and higher education on building a home for you to express yourself freely, connecting you with opportunities, and finding the latest styles in today’s alternative scene.
