Westminster Pipe Band of OKC just returned from the Glengarry Highland Games - North American Pipe Band Championships in Maxville, Ontario.  We did well with a 2nd place overall and Best Drum Corps in grade 3 against probably the premier piping and drumming program in the nation, St. Thomas Episcopal in Houston, TX.  Congrats to St. T for a job well done.

We got to play our MSR in a thunderstorm.  YouTube video here  Really amazing with some good lightning and thunder.  Pipes held in there pretty well although drones were stopping left and right near the end.  When leaving the circle, the steady downpour turned into an outright torrent.  Only cover was the beer tent so we ran though the now zero visibilty downpour to the tent and stayed there all afternoon, not worrying about our soaked cases and accessories.  Just a wet muddy mess all around.  BUT, a great weekend regardless!
