Yeah, we're silly boys who think that the whole world should follow our musings in 3 sentence snippets.  It'll be a good way to get up to the minute information about shows and other goings on, however, so get into it!

It took me a long time to get into the whole "punk rock 'n roll" wave that, despite featuring a lot of bands that had been around for a long time, hit recently. The first time I heard Turbonegro I was unimpressed; I found The Hellacopters ultimately forgettable; The Bronx just never did it for me. Oddly enough, it took a local band to get me to love all those aforementioned, and that local band is called Constrictor.

Constrictor doesn't fuck around. They feature seasoned musicians who have been involved in the Virginia Beach music scene for a bit (well, at least the dudes I know), so they get straight to the point. The drums are hard-hitting, the riffs are intricate, the vocals are passionate. This is their first and only recording (which sounds damn good, despite it being a demo), though they have a full length coming out early next year.

Instead of using more buzz words to convince you to check this out, I'll just say that if you're a fan of any of the bands I mentioned in the first paragraph, you'll probably be way into this.
