It is regret that Shake announce the departure of Tim Milner and Daniel Pritchard.

Both in Oz and during their stay in the UK they were an invaluable part of the Shake family and we will miss them greatly on stage and off. We wish both Tim and Dan every success back home in Sydney.

Taking on the role of guitarist for Shake is the enigmatic Mr Akis Kollaros from the notorious London stoner-billy punk band Mallory Knox and on the drums we have borrowed the king of mod’s Josh Gimber of Targets fame.

Two months in the land of 2pound fried chicken and teeth rotting cider and life is greased lightning for SHAKE! and our arteries. We do miss you sydney siders and the support you gave us and we are representing the grit and glam across the sea for you all.

Scraps on interest - the lads at GIBSON guitars threw a cracking party for Australian and UK acts with SHAKE! as i guess "Australians Abroad" VIPS. The john steel singers were shuffling about as well as all the big wigs of gib. Amanda ,Sam & Lee  were amongst the lucky few to see the album launch instore @ ROUGH TRADE of  uk  legends GALLOWS! - easily the most fun ive ever had inside a record store! ran into Sam from THE SCARE! and a zillon men with neck tattoos.

Rick mayall's cat ( drop dead fred) and a slightly sober tim rogers are some of the recent run ins we have had around olde londy towns. Sam bumped into Acey Slade( Murderdolls/DOPE) and Lee has whored out his sound expertise to Electric Sixx ( yeah yeah the GAY BAR SONG GUYS) , Posion the Well , Unearth and local infamous acts.

Sam and Tim have seen crusty punks piss into camdens canal while asking for more strongbow, I had eaten at The Darkness' favourite indian curry house... and freaked out in london dungeon in true nasal Australian screaming style.

4 Shows in 2months - Each sweaty show has become an excerise in destorying ourselves without destorying the tune! Writing new songs no doubt inspired by the recent uprooting across the globe and the new faces we have seen -these gigs have been the start of a leaner meaner SHAKE! we aint gonna get a star treatment in a land of musicians -so nothing is safe when you see us play.. dance and remember the name.

Hey there Shakers!

So a very eventful week has come to an end with the beginning of a fresh week to start. We kicked off the week with our debut London show at THE HOPE AND ANCHOR which for our first gig we shore did give the Londoner's a taste of what SHAKE has to bring to this old town..

Then we started of the weekend with the one and only Timmy Milner's 21st birthday which as sure to be one hard to remember in the morning.. We had some fine wine with some fine company and caused us to get up to some late night dancing in Lee and Amanda's room..

Hey there all,

So SHAKE! has now finally arrived in London in full force. As you may have known Lee and Amanda have been here since the start of Feb and now with the arrival of Sam, Dan and I we have a complete band.

We got a chance to explore the London night life on the weekend in celebration of our long awaited arrival and even more so Lee's birthday "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE'. We stopped in at Crowbar and The Intrepid Fox before our budgets decided it was time to head home but with enough pennys for a Hotdog..

We have our first gig on the 23rd March at the Hope and Anchor and plenty more goodies in the book on its way.. Also our video clip for 'SHAKE THAT' will be available for you're pretty little paws very soon..

Going to keep this short and sweet however we'll be in touch very soon with more details, info , pics and more.

Hope we all have been well over the last couple of week's... Thanks you all once again who cam along and joined in the fun with our clip!!

So some news... Lee and Amanda have started their London adventure as of 3rd Feb and already started the ball rolling with SHAKE! kickin' things in the LONDON...

Will keep this one nice and short but more blog to come once we all arrive in LONDON as Sam, Dan and I are just re-grouping with our last few weeks left here in OZ...
