It took a while but the wait is over, we are more than elated to announce The Reinactors DVD is now available for Pre-order. The DVD will be released September 22 in a handsome digi-pack complete with bonus features; a half hour of deleted scenes, the theatrical trailer, bonus feature-ettes "Meet The Reinactors". "A Wrinkle in the Hollywood Dream", & "The World Premier @ IFFR" (Rotterdam). The DVD is Region "0", which means it can play in most countries around the world, and it is close captioned for the hearing impaired. Meet The Reinactors

We are pleased as punch to inform our Canadian friends that David Markey's "The Reinactors" will be airing during the month of September '09 on The Super Channel. Complete details and times can be found here.

Just as the DVD is close to wrapping production (with over an hours worth of highly entertaining extras), The Reinactors is being invited to the forthcoming Clair-Obscur Film Festival 2009 (Basel, Switzerland).  Details are to follow and will be available here.

With the film screening in Montreal as a part of RIDM, it's Canadian national premier, filmmaker David Markey answers some questions about the film here.

We are please to announce the 8th International Film Festival play for David J. Markey's documentary "The Reinactors". RIDM - Les Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montreal, which takes place November 13-23 in Montreal, Canada. We are also honored to announce the film will be a part of the very first film festival in Angola, in the city of Luanda. After 30 years of civil war and democratic elections last September, Angola will host this historic first time event as the International Luanda Film Festival being held November 22 through 29, 2008. This marks the ninth festival play for the independent documentary feature.
