Ca faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas enregistré de mix et donc ca me fait très plaisir de présenter "Dancing In Tongues". Le titre est une référence à l'entrée fort intéressante de Matt Shadetek sur son blog Dutty Artz. On y parle de l'implication que les bloggers, dj, producteurs, mais aussi auditeurs, devrait avoir vis à vis de la "nouvelle musique du monde" et spécialement vis-à-vis de ce qui est dit dans les chansons. L'aspect de communication/explication lors d'un mix ou d'un post de blog. On y parle aussi de la position économique que nous tous occuppons dans ce nouveau "marché" et de la place du plaisir et du fun dans l'approche de ces musiques. C'est à lire. Merci donc à Matt pour le titre et merci à Benoit pour 2 de ces 18 morceaux.

Samedi dernier avait lieu la dernière édition des soirées Bounce Le Gros organisées par Ghislain Poirier. Pendant près de deux ans, Ghislain nous a offert l'une des meilleures soirées montréalaises, toujours avec des invités de qualité. Il termine actuellement son album à sortir à l'automne sur Ninja Tune. J'avais la chance d'ouvrir le final de cette soirée à présent légendaire et voici une partie du mon mix.
Last saturday, Ghislain Poirier organised the last edition of his Bounce Le Gros nights. During the last two years, Ghislain offered us one of the best night in Montreal, with great guests everytime. He's currently finishing his album to be released in the fall on Ninja Tune. I had the honor to open that final edition of a now legendary party and here's a part of my mix.
