During and after Walden I will continue in my chosen goals of reforming education from two and up (if not from the womb, as some noetic scientists suggest), by writing grants to fund worthy alternatives in the form of intergenerational Design by TEAMS. I will be teaching these workshops and have been invited to a July 2009 symposium on education in the Americas to be held in Mexico City. I would also like to share my work in Canada and France. From the grass roots of parental care and the feedback loops that TEAMS create among all stakeholders, Self-Designed rubrics can easily replace artificial assessments of only two types of at least eight forms of intelligence that standard testing now attempts to measure using static analysis in a mutable world. This will encourage open systems that can grow and evolve with their students. In order to accomplish social change, one must provide a positive alternative to outmoded educational paradigms that did not consider the needs of the whole child. I will be designing simulation games that teach two and up how to read using music as the carrier and art and sacred geometry in a natural world as the user interface. I have two alphabet books of poetry that will be songs, and some volunteers in other countries who will translate these games into other languages and cultural and musical games that teach cooperation and reward teamwork rather than violence. I will appreciate hearing from anyone else who might like to be included when I write grants so that they can conduct research in this paradigm as well. I am funding a family farm Model Project and a non-profit research institute and offering web pages free to budding artists, musicians and native craftspeople. In order to continue cultural traditions in a changing world, I will offer a College of Synthesis free online as a film and music school for networking and sharing and archiving of traditional and creative talents in a world too often inundated with greed instead of compassion. I chose Walden because I felt it embodied many of the principles I already held dear.

I have not mapped it out so much as felt and envisioned it. Having raised five children helps bring into focus the weaknesses of our current educational matrix, as well as how to heal it. Looking at something from different points of view is what Dr. Wood, my mentor, taught me by example. He create an N-dimensional approach to Knowledge assessment to bypass the lack of sharing among disciplines. There is a way to reach what he called "out of the box" solutions, using this matrix.

When the poems of our souls become our goals, then the MIDIs we are will reach to the stars! Midi is what i call human beings, or musically intelligent design interfaces. I have five children, one son who is 30, and four daughters, 22, 19, 16 and 13! What a crew! only my 16 year old is living with me in my mom’s basement here in San Juan islands. I will be playing music friday night at the Art Walk, maybe I can record some... I have everything I need to create cd and dvd, just have not got around to it yet. I want to create inter-generational teams using natural places and music as carrier to create simulation games teaching sacred geometry and musical abilities, teaching two and up how to read, will need help translating into French? I am going to Vegas to NAB/BEA this month to look for funding, have found a 1902 family farm for cheap for this area. I need 50K down and can move in! Want to use the old barn to start a recording studio, film school, organic farm model projects, online College of synthesis, etc.

Has the agenda-setting function OF THE MEDIA and media ownership helped to stamp out truth, justice and the (older) American way of freedom and liberty for all? Has the violence and fear and hate that led to war caused our hearts to turn to stone, so that violence, not peace, has become the Order of the Day, or business as usual? When we will give Peace a Chance? AT least one in thirteen Americans (as in Pennsylvania Dutch) original colonialists, have the right and responsibility to stand for peace and to win a war with the pen, mightier than the sword, a war for Peace on EArth and true accord among all species. Is this not our right, taken away from us with lies and ads that purport to be fair and just but are farther from that than any slaveholder of past centuries? When Bechtel can put on a war for greed and have US all follow like sheep to the slaughterhouse, while we trust a leader who is only a henchman for the ruling class, so to speak, then there is nothing but atheism and not even the AS-If theory of Vaihinger can save us from the lack of morality this has created, where the state religion of hate and fear is all we hear? Can there be any more Golden Rule, when there is no prayer in public school, and MURDER is OK, and the ORDER OF THE DAY, as long as it is THE OTHER SIDE who are DOING THE DYING! wE USE THE GREEK PI BUT REFUSE PHI. THE GOLDEN MEAN!
