iMportant Announcement!!!!!!

As most of you hopefully know, i will be leaving January. iN preparation for this event, i'm selling off original art to people who want to buy it. This includes everything i've made, commissions for people who request them (imma hafta charge you, tho, sry) and paintings. The only things off limits are the first drawings of 3d and Mike as well as original comic art. The comic art b/c i intend on republishing my book (found at lulu...com/..fyreboidesigns) in a better version, through a better company.

Mission Statement

optimistic

On January 1st, 2010, i am going to be leaving the small town of Burlington. i will be traveling the country, and hopefully, parts of our vast, amazing world. i will return to North Carolina, and Burlington, should there still be people i love here, towards the end of 2012, possibly the beginning of 2013, should the world not end before then. i shall be traveling on foot, from state to state, nation to nation. My leaving was initially triggered by an agreement with my roommates that i leave this apartment by January. iNstead of trying to find a new place to crash or live, i decided the best option was traveling. This being that Burling has almost no job opportunities for me. This is mainly due to my very poor work history and my problems with authority. My goals in this adventure are a follow:

1) Learn as much as possible about everything i can. Through formal and informal education and experience. This will help to make me a better person and how to care of both myself and the family i hope to start later in life.

2) Become physically fit. iN this respect, i will learn various martial arts that i have no knowledge of at present time. i will also train my body on the road by wearing weights on my arms, legs, and upper torso, as well as a daily regimen to challenge myself. iN this goal, my final task will be competing in either the K-1 World Grand Prix or the K-1 MAX Grand Prix. Both of these are mixed martial art competitions very similar to kickboxing and Muay Thai. No matter if i win or lose, my only goal is to compete and know that i had done that.

3) Set my own mental state to perma-happy. i'Ve grown quite tired of my periodical depressions. i wish to rid myself of these periods because, well, it sucks that i hurt inside for no damn good reason. These have caused many problems that i wish to never happen again. And i don't want any damn pills, either.

4) Keep a log of my various adventures and lessons learned, then publish them as a book so as to help others. Either through inspiration or my personal life lessons. i'Ve learned very much from books and stories and i want to hellp others as others have helped me.

5) Write and draw my finishing Sleep Deprived story. The Sleep Deprived webcomic has basically gone no where as far as growing a fan base beyond forty or fifty, but i plan to publish one more book from the webcomic, then this last story, which is an epic i've been working on for years on end.

6) Become even more amazing than i already am.

These are the goals i set before myself. Thought they may seem larger than life to some, i know i can do it. My father taught me a long, long time ago, that once i set my mind to something, there's nothing or no one that can stand in my way. i take this to heart, as i know my father loves me as dearly as i love him. Both my parents, along with my step mother, have taught me very well, but i know there's more i can only learn on my own. i admit, i am a bit ashamed of the way i have acted in the past, both to these three loved ones, plus all my other beloved friends and family. i have acted selfish, ignorant, egotistical, and down right rotten towards everyone at some point or another. This NEEDS to change before i can fully say i am a true man and gentleman. i know this now, as a year ago, i did not. Events from this year have already changed my perspective on my life and myself. As my father always says "Self improvement is a good thing."

Now, i shall do my best to keep everyone up to date on how i'm doing, where i am, and the simple fact that i'm still alive. i love you all, very, very much. Before i go, i will see everyone and say good-bye. Please keep in mind, i am coming back.
