Things are looking busy for us this month, we have new single 'Tonight' coming out on 22nd July.
'Tonight'  is the track that we wrote in 24 hours for the IMS (International Music Summit) in Ibiza back in May. The track was then remixed by the amazing Above and Beyond, and Pete Tong has started to play the track on his BBC Radio1 'Essential Selection'. There are 4 versions of the song available on download only ,

2 'Above and Beyond' remix
3 Dirty Vegas 'Club Mix'
4 Matt Masters remix.
Twenty percent of all proceeds will go to 'Dance4Life' Dance4Life charity, which is an international initiative set up to involve and empower young people all around the world to push back the spread of HIV and AIDS. www.dance4life.com
We have some great shows this month, we headline the 'Dig-it-All' festival in Kuala Lumpar alongside Toco Disco and Mason.
We also have a song we wrote called 'Crimson Sun' with Montreal's men-of-the-moment DJ Sultan and Ned Shepard featured on Sultan's Global Underground 'Nubreed' Compilation. the release date for this killer compilation is 24th August.

In-between writing the new Dirty Vegas album, i managed to find time to work with some great friends DJ Joeski and DJ333 for a thier new project called 3ski.
The first song we've done is called 'We Live' and i will be singing it live at The Island in Queens NY this Friday 15th May. Andy Caldwell will be DJ-ing at what should be a great night!

DV NEWS....GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, IMS and MORE

hello all, sorry for the delay...things have been very busy!.
Just got back yesterday from Britweek in LA, which included a soccer game with Vinnie Jones, Frank Le Boef and Warren Barton....was great great fun!
I Have been in London with Ben and Paul working on the album, and we're very pleased with the new stuff!. We played some great warm up gigs in Brighton, Belfast, Southampton and Dubai.
we have been asked to write the 'track' for the IMS (international Music Summit) which is in Ibiza from 27-29th May. we will write a tune that will be done infront of the IMS attendee's then, Above and Beyond will remix it the following day. the tune will available to buy shortly aferwards and will go to a charity that will be announced at IMS.
we have great news that Dirty Vegas will play Glastonbury Festival this year on the sunday night 28th June at 6;15 on the Dance Stage. cannot wait for this one! loads more to tell over the next few weeks, including more festivals and DJ sets.

This week....songs and new dates!

hello,
it has been a productive week, maybe because it was -16 that i didnt want to leave the house!.
But I wrote a few songs that Ben and Paul really liked, so that was good!.
a
song called 'Someday' is coming together quite nicely, we even got the
wonderful Ms Sam Obernik to grace us with some great 'Backing Vocals'
for the track!.
We are all writing in cyberspace with each other,
and will continue to do so until we head off to play Las Vegas on 3/19
at TABU @ MGM Grand. Then we fly to D.C for a DJ/Live set at 'FUR'
3/21, before we play at 'SET' in Miami on 3/22 we have a photo shoot in
D.C!. Who said Sundays we're a day of rest?.
Then Winter Music
Conference starts in Miami, where we will play a 'live show' at The
Delano Hotel (3/25) with a few surprise guests. Then its a big night
for us as we play the mainroom at SPACE for 'Toolroom Knights' with
Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Dave Spoon etc.
we finish off our week in
Miami by playing at the 'Bullitt' Party we're we will raise a glass (or
2) to celebrate our new management with them! should be fun!!

NEWS ON DIRTY VEGAS RELEASE!

well, what can we say?
after a four year break we are about to release our first single as Dirty Vegas.
a break like that gives you chance to really fall in love with music again and become fans again, not slaves to a record label.
after a writing week in London earlier this year and another in the US in October, we all feel we have the makings of a great album!.
'Pressure' which certainly feels apt for times like these, is our first digital single back into the scene from where we came....House Music!.
Pete Tong, David Guetta and Tom Novy are all championing this track and Ibiza-Voice has called it, "an intensely emotive, truly distinctive slice of clubbing gold that's destined to follow 'Days Go By' to become a genuine classic!
we are working our butts off so that we can get out there and play live again in 2009!
