Current mood:  accomplished

After a heated debate and a couple of failed solutions, I decided to solve the CHAPTER/SERIAL submission problem by creating a new section for writers who want to submit pieces of longer fiction rather than standalone short stories.

I also threw in a Poems section since a few poems have also found their way into the Short story chart.

So now storywar is bigger and better than ever before! Here's the link, as if you'd ever forget it : www.storywar.com

4.enter your password after following the link given in the confirmation email
5.click submit story
6.copy and paste (or write a new story from scratch) your story into the box provided
7. story should be under 1000 words, and can be any genre
8. you can add your full name and website to your description using the 'edit profile' button
9. watch as your story is viewed, rated and reviewed
10. tell as many people as you can about the story, post links to it in your blog/myspace/website etc..

Hope that clears it up.. have a good easter! ;)

PS HUGE thanks to everyone who registered and submitted already - there are some really cool stories on storywar, I do read all of your entries and am blown away by the amazing response the site has had in so little time!

Well, its been a good start for storywar! With no advertising needed (yet!) there are 57 stories and counting on storywar.com and nearly a hundred writers signed up and raring to go!

There's a press release scheduled for sunday, hopefully a few writing mags will pick that up and run with it..

The most impressive thing is how writers of all levels have been commending the site and helping out by spreading the word.. massive thanks to those who helped!

I have had a few requests for link exchanges, but at the moment I'd like to keep the site minimalistic so viewers can concentrate on reading the amazing stories that have been submitted..

I'll be using this blog as a way of communicating with the world.. so keep checking in and remember to tell a friend or two.. Storywar's here for everyone!
