WA alternative pop darlings College Fall announce a triumphant return from their fourth and most successful tour of Europe with an August duo tour of their home state, Western Australia.   The European tour was highlighted by a special performance for Australia’s own royal, Princess Mary of Denmark – hand picked to perform at the Sculptures By The Sea Australian art and culture exhibition in the Danish city of Arhus.....

 ....

Every gig of the WA tour will involve no cover charge, making this your best chance to catch their live performance recently described as ‘the perfect blend of emotion and humour’ by the UK’s 24-7 magazine and ‘heartfelt pop with tinges of punk’ by the NME!.  The band has saved a limited edition of 50 copies of a specially produced European tour EP (featuring tracks from their highly anticipated new album The Curse Of Us), for WA fans – the new EP will only be sold at these WA gigs.....

 ....

The remainder of 2009 is very busy for Musto and Jodie-Lee who have been invited to perform in Osaka, Japan as part of the Kansai Music Conference and to Cincinnatti, USA for the Midpoint Music Festival, both in September. The band will then be touring the east coast of Australia to coincide with the re-release of their debut album Eleven Letters, before releasing their new album The Curse Of Us. Stay tuned to www.collegefall.com and myspace for more details.

Our 2009 European adventure is going swimmingly ~ The Sculptures by the Sea exhibition was beautiful, our gigs were great and our time with Darren Hanlon and the Mullin family (Our Danish surrogate family) were fantastic! We were also taught how to play a didgeridoo by Europe's finest player: Lars Wallin. Lars has also organised a special show in Uddevalla Sweden next week!
For all our updated gig details, check our website for more details: www.collegefall.com

More soon... xx

Hello to all of our Western Australian friends.

I was wondering if you might be able to help me... You see College Fall has just finished recording our second album. As part of that we had to make like we’re super important and choose a song to make our first single. So we’ve chosen a track called Fake Life. To complete the illusion, we have decided to make a video clip for Fake Life. And that’s where you come in...

We are searching for friends and fans who might be interested in being extras in our video clip. The scene we need you for is a crowd shot at the York Racecourse... In York (believe it or not!) - about an hour east of Perth. The scheduled shoot date is: Saturday 2nd of May.

If you are keen just give me a shout at musto@collegefall.com and I’ll send you all the details. People of all shapes, sizes and ages are more than welcome – sporting the concerned and analytical look of a hardened gambler is preferred, but not compulsory ;-).

In other news, if you happen to be down south for the Anzac weekend – Jodie and I are throwing on some make up, waxing our legs and getting all dressed up for a couple of not to be missed super-gigs:

Hi guys!

College Fall are currently in Sydney recording our new album. We are recording a whole bunch of voices (hopefully up to 300) to be part of a sing-a-long choir on one of our songs (called The Flood). If you are in town and would like to be part of it, shoot an email to me at musto@collegefall.com... We'd love to have you!

In other news, we've added the wonderful Mr Matthew Geary to our line up to record this album and for the foreseeable future. Some of you (particularly Perth folk) will know Matty from playing with me in the Nordeens and his work in other Perth bands Team Jedi and Russian Winters.
