Hello all,

First of all, we hope everyone survived the holidays and it was as wonderful as ever! We wish everyone a safe and happy new year!

Tomorrow is Tony and Stephanie's 7 year anniversary (Dec. 30) and the two of them will be celebrating in Yosemite, CA!

And last but not least, after an extended delay, we received the shipment of our new album "Remains" which is on our independent label INaCAGEMusic. From what we understand, it will be available online through CDbaby, Itunes Store, Napster etc. sometime in January 2010. In the meantime, we have plenty of copies available for $5 + s/h if anyone is interested. 15% of all profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

UPSET UPDATE 10-23

I just received word from Stephanie that her sister in laws great grandmother was brutally murdered in Mexico. She was found decapitated and cut open still holding onto her rosary. This world sucks!

R.I.P

Stephanie and my insurance are totaling out my PT! This is the 3rd PT I have had totaled. 2 on the freeway (one flipped over the center divide that left me ejected approx. 60 ft and the other locked up in the rain and slammed into a wall about 6 months later) and now this one @ a traffic light! There is no way this one should be totaled out!

Oct. 17th - 18th (follow up update) Shakedown and Mixdown

Well, we weren't able to mix down everything yesterday. Therefore, we will be taking one more trip back to Rock Slough Studios next Saturday to finish up. 7 Days after Loma Prieta and 7 days before Hallows Eve.

The time has come.

Today is the 20th year anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake in California. Its a day we will never forget! Ironically, today INaCAGE mixes down and finishes our album.

Word from AMP

Hey all!

These last few weeks have been kinda brutal. With taking on the vocals due to our singer taking time off to spend with her ill mother (we hope she gets well fast!) as well as other reasons I will leave disclosed to yesterdays car accident that me and my daughter were in. We are fine but my PT Cruiser got pretty thrashed and is now currently in the body shop.
It was also 13 years since my grandmother passed away on 10/1 and a very good friend of mine who was also the singer in my old band passing away as well 4 days later. Talk about a double whammy from opposite ends of the spectrum. A grandmother who had lived a full life and a bro who had his whole life ahead of him! MISS YOU! R.I.P
We will be finishing up our recording sessions this weekend and I hope to gather all this emotion I have had and put it into some positive energy for some sick vocal tracks!

We can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate it!

Update 10-1

Hello all,

We have hit a minor setback with our recording process. We are disappointed to announce that our singer Jackie Souza will no longer be singing with INaCAGE. Therefore, we are back to being a power trio and Tony is once again handling all the vocals.
The new songs were originally designed for two singers and although the songs are not being altered in the light of everything, Tony has taken the last two weeks to redefine his role. We will be taking one more weekend off before we finish up our last recording session which is set to take place on October 10th. We will mix down the following weekend then have it taken to Berkeley to have it mastered shortly after.We were hoping to have our album out by Halloween but we are now only looking to have it completed by then and out sometime in November.
To leave you with a positive and promising note, we have recently received word and are excited to announce that our album will be available on the itunes store as well as having a percentage (not sure the percentage yet) of the profits go to the American Cancer Society!

Recording EP @ Rock Slough Studio

Hey all,

The time has finally come. And we emphasize the FINALLY! As of last Saturday, August 22 we began the first stages of our recording sessions with Stephanie laying down her drum tracks. We are recording with our long time friends who own 40 acres of land in the country. They have done a terrific job of building their own professional recording studio and we are very thankful to be recording our EP there. Beautiful scenery, away from all the noise so we can make our own and surrounded by dear friends! Good times!

So the plan is that we will be continuing to record just about every Saturday until its completed. This Saturday we started recording bass and guitars and will be again next Saturday. Once its finished, we will take it to Berkeley to have it mastered and pressed. We anticipate this taking place by Halloween. We shall see.
