NEW E.P
We are now in the final stages of producing our debut E.P and are excited to announce that it will be available from the 20th February onwards, so if you want to get your hands on one quick, come on down to the Pitz on the 20th when we'll be supporting our friends in Rise Inside for their first headliner. The price will be announced later on.

Also, if we finish putting everything together on time, we'll try and get a free E.P out to our street team members before the show as a thanks for their hard work.

NEW MERCH
It's not quite ready, but with any luck the new badges and stickers will be ready for the release of the E.P and available to buy from the Pitz show on the 20th. New t-shirts are being discussed but funds are low, so we'll have to see. There are still a good few left of the original batch though.

We are sad to officially announce that Simon has left Planets. He decided to go to uni in Southampton, and it's just too far to come back for band practises/gigs. So we've said our goodbye's....

BUT...this means we're now looking for a new bassist. If you play/know someone that plays bass and are committed and available to gig then please get in touch. Own transport would be preferable but not necessary.

25/07/08 - We recorded some guitar guide tracks today for the first 2 songs on the E.P for Ivan to play along to. We're currently looking at places to track the drums and plan to start as soon as the brand new 3rd track is finished to a standard we are happy with...

06/08/08 - Today we got all the drums for the E.P recorded as well as an extra song we didnt originally want to record, but if all goes well, you might hear it on the cd.



For now, thats all, but head over to the pics section to see some more photos from the recording session.

18/08/08 - We started work on guitars today and managed to get down Paul's guitars for 3 out of four songs and plan to record the final song, overdubs and any additional parts tomorrow.



19/08/08 - We finished off Paul's guitar parts today with the exception of some additional parts that can only be added in once Ben has recorded his parts. We will be recording bass on Sept 1st so check for updates then.

01/09/08 - After a day of Simon tying to record while still drunk from the night before we gave up and decided to wait till the next day to record bass...



02/09/08 - We finally got the bass down after 4 or so hours and a lot of knob twiddling trying to get the bass to sound nice enough. To our joy we also discovered that Paul's initial recording's we're out of tune for all the high notes because the intonations on the Telecaster were out so we're gonna have to go back and re-record all Paul's parts again!



10-11/09/08 - We got all Ben's guitar parts down over 2 days apart from the clean (cleaner - just for you Ben) parts, which we'll do once we have Paul's parts re-done.

23-24/09/08 - After sorting out the intonations on Freddies SG, we got Paul's guitar parts re-done over 2 days - we're getting slowly closer...
