Current mood:  tired
So I'm working on an "album!" Awesome, huh? In like, the past two days. Some of the songs will be covers, but most of it is original stuff that I've reworked and made sound better, or remixed. Here's a "markup" of the tentative playlist:

1. Poison & Honey- I wrote this song yesterday in about 3 hours. I love it, though.
2. Romania- I took out a lot of the nasty interferency-stuff that was supposed to be percussion.
3. The Beach Song- I redid the vocals, because let's face it, I was totally off-key in my first recording. I'm also trying to develop vocal consistency that doesn't involve belting.
4. Let's Pretend I Do- It's really long and slow, but I wouldn't alter that for anything. That's how it's meant to be.
5. Enough Sugar- I have a feeling this is going to be stuck in people's heads. The accompaniment is so..delicious and lyrics..well, repetitive. I basically recite dreams I've had.
6. When You Come Back- I sped it up a bit and re-sang it.
7. The 2nd Mrs. de Winter- it's fine the way it is...
8. Player- 3rd song I ever wrote, better known as "A Bird Flew Under the Moon," written during my unfortunate emo stage. I couldn't bear to scrap it though, because, while the lyrics were insipid, the music was SO GOOD. I am, after all, brilliant. So I basically ad-libbed lyrics, which aren't as good, but better. Don't judge me based on this song.
9. Player (Tech Edit)- I make it more techno-y and yell insults at myself while I'm singing.
10. Bilgundsroman- depending if I decide to keep it. It's a little...out of style
11. I Won't Look Out my Window- yes. The first song I ever wrote. Bree will know it well because we spent FOREVER rehearshing it. I'm just thinking there's something I could do with it. We'll see.
12. Brightly Wound- no where as good as Eisley, but I'm so proud of myself for figuring out how to play it.
13. Loch Lomond- classic, simple, Scottish piece. love it.
14. Samson (Live)- I say live because I straight recorded it, no piecing, multiple tracks, or editing. It's a minute shorter than Regina Spektor's album version because...I sing really fast.
15. Snapeson- audio from the "popular" Youtube video. :-)

I will just burn masses of copies and give them to my friends. Sound yummy?

To hear a few of the songs not on my myspace (I'm working on figuring out how to add more songs to my profile, like 5 or 6, basically by messaging artists who do) check out my purevolume.

Peace!!
