Our next show will be a one off at Conne Island in Leipzig with support from the excellent COWBOY PROSTITUTES and Leipzig streetpunks TROUBLEKID on Friday 22nd January 2010. It should be a good one and we might even play a few songs from the new album if you ask nicely!

We will get back on the road 2 months later (late March/early April) to tour the album, dates are already booked in Finland, England, Germany, CZ Rep, SK and Austria... If you want to book us in your club email us and we'll see what we can do.

In the meantime, have a good Xmas time and email us song requests if there are any songs you really wanna hear in 2010.

See ya, H & DL.

This tour restored our faith in Punk Rock! The last Euro tour we'd done (Bad Boys For Life in April) had left a sour taste, after all the fuck ups and poor turn outs, we were wondering if there was any point in touring anymore... this tour proved us wrong and we enjoyed every minute of it... except for the rain storms.

Thanks to all of you for turning up in strength on rainy week days, showing support and having a good time.

Here are a few pictures we've started gathering, please email more, especially if you were in Siegen or Mossingen, we need photographic memories of these.

Remember we only have 3 more German shows left for 2008 and won't book any new ones till next year, so if you wanna catch us live in Germany you'll have to go to one of these:

-Bike N Roll Festival next saturday 02.08

-Rock My Ass Festival in Lichtenfels on 31.08

-Wild At Heart in Berlin on 29.11 (Advance Booking Recommended, this will sell out!)

Check out the pictures and email new ones... cheers, H & Liz.

What a great time we had. It made a huge difference being able to stay for a few days and not just fly in and out.

Lots of great bands, tons of friends and not an inch of trouble. Brilliant.

See you all soon on the road for Bad Boys tour, and remember that the new album will be out in a few weeks.

Cheers!!!!

The last 10 day tour was probably the best we've ever done…

Doudou has done a grand job on guitar! He played his first show with us 2 weeks ago in Weinheim… with absolutely NO rehearsal (in true DL style ;) and in my humble opinion we sounded better than before! His tight style and versatile sound also enabled us to include new songs in the set which we had never been able to really master live in the past…. Going Nowhere seems to have gone down well every single night!!!! Cant wait to get back on the road for another few weeks.

Thanks to all the crazy people we met in Germany. Without you, the shows wouldn't be half as good!

And now a few pictures I just got….

German motorway on the way to East Germany…. Ryan should definitely quit smoking!

See you all next week-end (and the one after that) in Germany!

European Tour Diary (13/04 - 28/04)

Day 1: Hamburg/Grunspan

So here we are, Hamburg again! The first date with Tiger Army and all the beer we can drink! It don't get better than this! To let you in on some info we have old faithful Julien our roadie…. Who I might add is a tattoo artist/butcher. More on that to come…

Great show tonight, 800 lunatic German punks, psychos and skins help to kick the  tour off to a sweaty start, hotter than hell, great!   LEE

Day 2: Gothenburg/Sticky Fingers/Showdown

Second day into the tour… off to Sweden! We cross 2 borders, take 2 ferries and end up playing 2 shows in one night. A wonderful thing to do… once!

The sold out Sticky Fingers show with Tiger Army was a good show case for us with a perfect Swedish sound and a picture perfect crowd with not 1 hair out of place.

The 2nd show was a different story! We walked into the venue and straight onto the stage. The sweat was flowing before the end of the 1st song and an energy fuelled 12 song set ensued. A good time was had by all tonight.  HERVE

Day 3: Travelling Day/Scandinavia

I was sleeping mostly on the long haul to Stockholm. We got on the ferry to Finland taking as many beers and photos as we could while it was still daylight. By about midnight the chaos started when we realised that there were 600 odd Finnish students drunk as hell wandering aimlessly into our room and others… while I was getting inked.   RYAN

Day 4: Helsinki/Nosturi

We started the day with 1 less member… Ryan was still in the ferry (with no passport) as we drove the van off! He made it off by blending in with the Finish students and after 1 breath test and a change of driver later we make our way to Helsinki.

I check on the map to see where we are and it's the furthest North and East the band has been, and we can feel it in the air temperature. Good job I brought my big coat!

The venue is by the port and there's loads of giant "pin balls" all over the place (art I guess) so we have our picture taken with a few and head to the nearest curry house.

I'm nervous before going on stage tonight. I know it's gonna be hard work winning over a crowd who don't know us, but as the gig goes on I relax and by the end I come off with a sense on achievement. There was dancing and singing along and the merch sales prove we did a good job.  LIZ

Day 5: Travelling Day/Scandinavia

Leave Helsinki at 5AM, catch the 12 hour ferry back to Stockholm, sleep, sleep and more sleep!  PASCAL

Day 6: Stockholm/Debaser

Well I don't think there was ever a better opportunity to tattoo your own leg… so that's what I've done! Pizza, Tattoos and beer!!! Another sold out show, the high life lives on!  LEE

Day 7: Copenhagen/Stengade 30

A slightly smaller show in a packed 350 venue, but hot as fuck and crazy. We checked out a great tattoo shop called Conspiracy Tattoos, Uncle Allan does some great work. LEE

Day 8: Berlin/SO36

As we drive into Kreuzberg I feel like I'm coming home. I've been down these streets many times before. SO36 is heaving by the time we hit the stage and we play a cracking set. Despite the security barriers I'm able to recognize many a familiar face down the front as it must be about our 10th show in Berlin. I normally leave the after show parties to the boys but tonight I feel like I deserve a few drinks and proceed to get rat arsed down at Wild At Heart with my boys, a couple of guys from Tiger Army and some good friends we've made over the years. I'm gonna have a sore head in the morning.  LIZ

Day 9: Leipzig/Conne Island

As for all German shows, we've played Conne Island a lot over the past 5 years and we know what to expect from the Eastside crowds. Stage diving galore, a wild pit and we have to do a couple encores as they won't let us go so easily. Tonight our set is filmed by 4 cameras for a future live DVD… Watch this space! HERVE

Day 10: Brno/Club Faval

On the way to Brno we found some porn in a bin but it was pretty low quality so we left it there. We did however steal some sunglasses which Herve instantly broke. This was about the time we realised we have too many geniuses in the van. Club Faval was a headline show for us but we managed to pack it out with stage diving Czechs. Ryan misbehaved so I had to beat him up. All in all a good day!  LEE

Day 11: Vienna/Arena

We arrive to state of the art Arena to hear the bad news, Tiger Army won't be playing tonight due to the singer having a bad throat infection. We try to convince the local promoter to let us play anyway, even for free, so we can shift some merch but he won't have it. He has to cancel the whole show or his insurance won't cover him. Oh well, at least it's not raining so we empty the backstage rooms of all the beers we can find and get really pissed in the warm summery night. Liz and I fall off the bench and Ryan had to stop Julien from playing with the traffic. HERVE

Day 12: Munich/Backstage

Nic's throat's still bad so it's another non eventful day, cash is a bit tight today so we stay in a cheap motel eating cheap pizzas and watching Julien tattooing Ryan (for free). HERVE

Day 13: Essen/Zeche Carl

We sweat ourselves nearly to death on the 5hr journey to Essen. It is getting HOT and with no air con it's not a pleasant experience!

The venue is nice though with a bar and outside seating so we chill for a bit in the sun before sound check.

After 2 days off it's hard to get the momentum going on stage, especially following The Broilers who are playing their home crowd, but by the end of the set the crowd look as sweaty as we did this afternoon in the van. LIZ

Day 14: Rotterdam/Waterfront

As we pull up to the venue I realise that I've been here before… not to play a show, just to get blitzed. I try my hardest to revisit that night but sometimes you just get to that point in a tour when nothing works. Damn!  LEE

day 15: Amsterdam/Melkweg

I didn't smell too bad today which was nice. Overall the day consisted of bicycles, bad parking, hundreds of Lost Prophets fans (who were playing another stage in the same venue), extreme tattooing, 37 empty beer cans and a pair of hot pants… enough said…  RYAN

Day 16: Groez Rock Festival

We had to get up at some unearthly hour this morning (7am) to make our way to the festival. I make up before we go but I needn't have bothered, after sleeping for 2 hours in the van my eyeliner's not quite where I put it earlier. As we arrive we are handed Eastpak keyrings, our AAA passes drink tokens and vouchers for lunch AND dinner. We're due on at 12:50 but as usual things get changed and we're now playing an hour later. Cool, time for lunch and vocal warm ups! There's a 35 min change over so after setting the stage we wait to play. As we bang into Blood On Your Hands the pit kicks off, and so does the DUST. By the end of the 1st block my eyes and lungs are full and at the end of the set I have to run off to have a good cough. I am filthy from head to toe but what a gig. I take a quick shower and we hang around for a bit back stage and catch up with people and bands we haven't seen since last summer's festivals then it's time to head back home for the UK leg of the tour. I'm knackered but happy!  LIZ
