We had a fantastic time playing in Texas a few weeks back. We got this email and thought it was fuckin funny, so here it is: "From: ken ************ Sent: Wednesday, September 30, 2009 6:23 AM To: theband@69sins.net Subject: they should cage the whole fucking lot of you Last Saturday evening the wife and I were on our way to the River Walk in San Antonio for a little dinner and made a wrong turn on Houston Ave. on our way to the restaurant. I made a stop at a nightclub called the Warehouse to use the restroom and ask directions. Had I any idea of the sickening magnitude of what I was to encounter inside, I would sooner have crapped my pants and let it bake dry in the Texas sun. Saying my senses were assaulted would be an understatement. It was more like being fucked right in the ear canal by what could be best described as a "wall of loud." Since being exposed to your band's performance my dogs cower and slink away when I enter the room and I experience projectile vomiting every time I hear someone play a Fender Telecaster. Your band is a god damned menace and you'd be best advised to keep the fuck out of Austin, TX. Thanks for a lovely evening and I dig the t-shirt. Warmest regards, Ken Austin, TX" Thanks Ken, we hope your dogs will overcome their adjusted behaviors soon and we enjoyed the hell out of fucking your ear canal. Have you ever seen us live? Send us your comments!!!! ... and yes, creativity counts!you can send us email if you prefer to: THEBAND@69SINS.NET

69sins would like to announce that we have a new guitarist named Malachi and that Stuky is no longer with us, though we are still good friends with Stuky we decided to part ways as an out come of artistic direction and nothing more. We are sad to see our brother go, but we would like you to welcome the new blood taking his place. You will see Malachi at his debut show with us at Club Red on September 19th @ 11:45pm, though this is a later show for us this is the last show we will be playing in Phoenix for a few months due to our out of state shows. So come see the new guy Saturday September 19TH, Malachi is guaranteed to blow your mind with his axe by adding his sick original style to 69sins' already adverse style of music. As you know Santana is in New York donating his kidney to his uncle, his surgery is August 18th, he will still be healing up to the Sept.19th show so come out and show him some love as well! Finally we will be performing our new song "walk away" during our set on the 19th for the first time! so dont miss our Sept 19th show because you might kick yourself in the ass for missing it!
So come see us before we take off to Texas and the midwest , and come out to support and show our newest member Malachi and Santana some love as well as the rest of the 69crew. Hope to see you all there !
We would also like to take this time to mention that we are selling out of copies of "g.f.y" at cd baby every couple days as well as some valley Zia Records locations! so to our fans buying our cd we would like to say thank you and we couldn't do this without you!

Our bassist Steve Santana is flying out to New York to have surgery on July 1st. His uncles kidneys have failed and he needs a transplant a.s.a.p, he has been cheating death for months on end, and Steve, being the cool fucker that he is, got tested to see if he was a match and luckily for his uncle he is! We are not canceling our California and Nevada tour dates as Steve will have a month to recover. To those who have seen Steve in action on stage, do not be dissapointed when you don't see him going bat shit like usual, even though ripping stitches open and bleeding all over the stage sounds metal as all hell , his recovery process is way more important to us and him, and to those who havent seen Steve do his thing on stage, don't worry, the rest of us got enough energy to deliver you a sick ass show like we usually do. So cheers to Santana for saving a life, please wish him the best and wish him a speedy recovery, if you are one to pray, then do it up! Saving a life is one of the coolest things a human being can do, and we all love and respect Steve for litterally "taking one for the team". IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT EVEN A SINNER CAN BE A SAINT IN TODAYS DAY AND AGE, WISH STEVE THE BEST AND WE WILL UPDATE EVERYONE AFTER HIS SURGERY IS COMPLETE. peace-69sins

We set out a couple weeks ago to take over the #1 spot on Reverb Nation in the Phoenix/Metal rankings and today we are! Kick ass! Thanks to all of you who helped spread the word and promote for us - we really appreciate it! Now we're aiming for the #1 nationally! It will take a little while but we're going to, help us out!
