I posted this awhile ago... but, it disappeared. So, I'm reposting.

In regards to my MySpace Video that topped Charts:

Hi honey.

In response to: "we mothers who wouldn't invite a woman dressed that way into our home so how do you give yourself permission to do it here?"

Last time I checked, I don't know who you are and I don't care to be in your home. Nor by my impression of you, would I ever care to be associated with uptight, judgemental, and downright ignorant people like yourself. Why are you so insecure? Are you the bouncer at your front door? lol

You wrote: "how does posing nearly naked on a community like this show any respect for women and married men? who do you think you are?"

I am Maya, that's who I am. I do this for fun, laughs, and I get paid. What does my video have anything to do with "respect for women and married men?" It was your sole decision to watch a perfectly decent video. If you disagree, that's perfectly fine. I respect other people's opinions and beliefs. But, personally attacking me with ignorant judgment shows a lack of maturity on your part.

If you are offended and/or don't like my video, well, I highly suggest not watching it.

Simple.

No one put a gun to your head and said, "WATCH MAYA's VIDEO".

In response to: "get real and show the rest of us a little respect and get a job"

I am real. Yep, I just pinched myself; still here. I also have a college degree. I know, wow! A model that can .... omg ... READ! Finished UCLA in 2 years. Holy moly, hell has frozen! Model with college degree. I'm sure that has just turned your world upside down. Job? Um...hello, I model. :-D

Maybe try embracing human nature and sexuality itself. It is a good thing. Your husband may appreciate you more.

Warmest Regards,

Maya

how does posing nearly naked on a community like this show any respect for women and married men? who do you think you are? it's truly disappointing to have to be shoved your obsession with your breasts - you are more than your breasts what a pity you stop there

good luck

we mothers who wouldn't invite a woman dressed that way into our home so how do you give yourself permission to do it here?
get real and show the rest of us a little respect and get a job

one that is in the porn industry judging by your choices
what a pity at your age to reduce yourself to just this!

After battling an insane migraine Saturday during the NOPI Drift show in Dolphin Stadium (April 14-15), I managed to work Sunday (during a tornado watch in Miami) and party Sunday night! woohoo!!

Amanda Olson, Meyli Yu, Markus Meyers and I started out by having a pleasant dinner at a cute boutique Italian restaurant. Had some wine.

Then, we met up with Brooke Murray and Nick Hogan. We all went to Pearl at Nikki Beach where I amused myself by taking lots of photos while drunksitting Meyli (who slept on my shoulder). We stumbled in the hotel around 6 am...It was so much fun!

So much fun that we missed our flight Monday morning. At 10am, Meyli calls me to wake me up.. our flight was at 10:30...A.M. She informed me that Mark was still passed out, so I decided to nap out my hangover til noon.

I had a mild anxiety attack upon hearing we couldn't get a flight back to DC that same day. After having horrific winds on the East Coast and hearing news of Virginia Tech's tragedy, at the airport, we managed to take a flight to Atlanta late Monday. Meyli and I stayed at Mark's, and on Tuesday morning, we took our connecting flight to D.C. Also, somehow, Mark lost his wallet at Nikki Beach or sometime during that evening...more champagne Mark? Ek!

UPDATED 08.11.2008: I removed the photos that I previously posted. It was harmless fun. But, unfortunately, some people who may not know us (all parties depicted in the photos), may perceive our night out in Miami as a drunken daily norm for us. Perhaps, these individuals suffer from a debilitating disease that affects the brain's ability to think intelligibly. A disease called "ignorance" aka "close-minded" and those affected by it may have not have ever had the pleasure of having a fun night out with friends.

This past Wednesday, I tried my first quarter pipe at Liberty Mountain. I've never ridden half pipe and since it wasn't open (no snow)...I said "F" it, let's just try the quarter pipe. All I have to say is wow! What fun! I just pointed my board straight and bent my knees and went up the vert and good graciousness...how freaky. hee hee. Ya, you slow down when you get to the vert so you stay squat but WOW. Anyway, I rode it again and again trying to turn and catch air but it started to get warm and the pipe got slushy and soon it had an inverted angle at the top (good for flips..I'm not there yet!)

I also rode my first box early this season and have been riding the longer stepped boxes but decided to try my first rail... Wow. Well, I didn't fall off the rail but fell on the landing and my bumhole hurt the rest of the day. Ouch!

I went mid-week so the mountain was pretty empty, which I like...

Backside was nice too! I like flying down top speed and looking for humps to jump.

I have to say, although this season did not have much snow...it's been fun. I try to push myself because it's so easy to become comfortable and not progress. Since my snowboard accident a few years ago, I still have this fear I've been trying to shake off...

Ants don't taste like black pepper! I got dared into tasting one or two in high school. Don't get me wrong, I am not big on peer pressure...just curious. Just as I was when someone asked me in college if I would eat the whole wasabi paste at Miyagi's on Sunset Blvd (Hollywood). So without hesitation, I did. Well, honestly, a guy I was seeing at the time did it the week before and he didn't explode or die so I thought I'd be okay too. hee hee And no, it's not spicy...instead it cleared my sinuses. Curiosity.

Driving my truck to see if I might be able to drift like a car...a little stupid ....but still curiosity. I did drift a little but it got sketchy. Dirt does taste like dirt and soap tastes like soap. Yek! Snowboarding with a bra and panties...cold, but surprisingly refreshing. hee hee...no pun intended.

Sea urchins don't sting..or at least when I poked it with a stick it didn't sting. Eating it and getting pulled under on a heavy set (..surfing...what were YOU thinking) does hurt but staying calm in a stressful situation does save lives ..it saved mine many times.

Rockclimbing, snowboarding , surfing, and the many things I love to do started out as curiosities. I am afraid of heights, drowning (can't swim), and of the dark! But, I'm human - I'm curious why I love the feeling of a few seconds in the air when I fly off a jump and yet fear the height. I'm curious why riding a wave is like no other feeling in the world and yet I fear the strength of mother nature's embrace.

I've been asked why I model for the things I do. Well, I like you, live only once. Why the F not! I am shy and fear audiences and wonder how photos convey that...does it? hee hee...probably not.

Yes, it's okay to call me an OXYMORON.

Had a blast! Coronas, Tequila, and Pina Coladas... Met some awesome people and even learned a thing or two about life and about modeling in general. Being so new to all this, I was honestly quite intimidated. I am shy and still learning about growing out of my shell. I was also thoroughly impressed by the girls and guys I worked with - their talent and drive and their passion for their work. Something I would like to learn from as well. Life is much more interesting with interesting people. hee hee.

Haha..if the subject caught your attention, it's probably because you're either from Pennsylvania or just a curious passer-by.  Anyhoot, although my trip last week was not so exciting at Seven Springs Ski Resort due to the unfortunate sleek ice that inhabited most of the mountain...this weekend at Liberty Mountain was refreshing.  And even though I do have to say conditions on the east coast SUCK compared to west coast...it's better than nothing.  Yes, I know I'm a Southern Cali snob...but hey, when I'm in Southern Cali..I'm a New York snob.

Sunday I was the only girl on the mtn with a tank top on...hey it was hot out.  It was like 50 degrees and sunny.  Yeah, there were quite a bit of bare spots but the slush made for some nice rides.  Could've been better but, hey!  A day in the snow...can't beat that.

Just got a new setup this week!  Woohoo!  Since, I'm fairly better from my bronchitis, I'm headed for Seven Springs (Pennsylvania) tomorrow and Monday.  Hope all this warm weather this past week hasn't melted all the snow.

I will be riding my '06 Burton Feelgood 149 w/ '06 blue Burton Lexa bindings.  I got new boots for Christmas too (Thirty-Two) but they are a biatch to break-in.  I love the BOA system.  I'm lazy so I love how fast I can be ready to ride!  I rode in them a couple weekends ago and they nearly cut all circulation from my feet but, I was riding my old board.  Luckily with the new bindings I got, I can adjust the strap toward my ankle.  Love the toe straps too!  They don't cut circulation in my toes and the response is incredible.  This technology thing is amazing!  hee hee...I know it's silly but my old board and bindings are...well..OLD!  They're years old.  It's a Forum Directional 151 with OLD Ride Preston bindings.  Oldy but goodies.

Maybe I'll see you out there.  I plan on going home to L.A. next month and will be paying Bear Mountain and Snow Summit a few past due visits.  March or April will hopefully be Mammoth Mountain!  My schedules between modelling and snowboarding are conflicting...and honestly, I'd rather snowboard.  Is that bad?!  hee hee...I think I'll manage though.

cheers,

Maya
