BLACK Eyed Peas' main man Will.i.am is starring in the new Wolverine movie playing mutant teleporter JohnWraith in X-Men Origins:Wolverine, which is out this week.
Wolverine is Will's first big-budget film. Will.i.am plays Wraith, a teleporter who befriends Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) during a mutant military mission to Africa. Years later, Wolverine tracks down his pal at a nondescript boxing gym in Las Vegas and the two take off on a fact-finding adventure. His character Wraith, claims Will, is based on his cousin Earl. He said: "He used to be a very, very bad, bad man. He's done some bad, bad things, but he's also a very approachable, likable, huggable kind of guy. "He has some bad friends who've done bad things, too, but he has a conscience."
The rest of the Peas showed their support to Will at the premiere of X-Men Origins last Tuesday.
Black Eyed Peas' new single Boom Boom Pow is out on May 18. Album The E.N.D is out on June 8.

Calvin Harris looks set to spend a second week at the top of the singles chart with I’m Not Alone (Columbia), despite a strong challenge from La Roux’s steadily-climbing In For The Kill (Polydor).
I’m Not Alone shifted another 19,000 units yesterday, some 5,000 more than In For The Kill, which looks set to be its strongest challenger.
Lady GaGa’s Poker Face (Polydor), AR Rahman feat Pussycat Doll’s Jai Ho (Polydor) and Ciara Feat Justin Timberlake’s Love Sex Magic (LaFace) should fill out the rest of a largely unchanged top five.

Lady Gaga is the first singer in almost ten years to hit the top of the Billboard charts with her first two singles, Reuters reports. Gaga's first single, "Just Dance" was No. 1 on the Hot 100 Singles chart in January, and held that spot for three weeks. Now, her song "Poker Face" has landed in the top spot, too, toppling Flo Rida's "Right Round," which had been king of the mountain for six weeks. The last singer to achieve this milestone was Christina Aguilera for her one-two punch of "Genie in A Bottle" and "What a Girl Wants." Going back further, Mariah Carey and Tiffany have also both had two number one singles back-to-back.

Lady GaGa is looking to become the first artist this year to achieve simultaneous album and singles number ones with early retail reports revealing The Fame and Poker Face are leading their respective markets.
The Interscope/Polydor artist scored her second number one single a fortnight ago with Poker Face and it is now looking to fight off a challenge by Vertigo/Mercury’s Noisettes with Don’t Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go) to make it a third week at the top.
At the same time Lady GaGa’s album The Fame, which in January reached number three and sat in that position on last Sunday’s chart, has opened up a gap at the top of the artist albums chart of around 1,000 units over nearest rival Only By The Night by Hand Me Down/Columbia’s Kings Of Leon.
