It's 6:53am and I am unable to go back to sleep or get up....stuck in that middle passage...the heater is warming my house but I am too hot t deal with it but too lazy to shut it off....so many things to say but fear that someone or something may be affected by my revelations...being cryptic is always the safe route for now...all I do know is my heart is changing...the many highways and byways of life is calling me home to another location spiritually, physically, mentally...nuff said. Good morning y'all...welcome to a new day.

Damn...it's been almost 4 months since my last MySpace Blog....I have been spending too much time creating status checks on Facebook (oops) and haikus (aahh)...speaking of Haikus, I just had an amazing creative reflection of writing today....I am so happy when ideas start to come together and sort itself out...life for me right now has been....blessed. I guess that is the right word...I have been reding the book "The Secret", and although I never believe in hocus pocus crap I really believe in theory it works...I feel positive "frequencies" in every point of my life. It's time to take advantage of the years of dreaming and plotting out my life and really LIVE...so much more to do.

As a straight man I laugh at the folks who claim "Marriage is Sacred"...if it is so sacred, why is the divorce rate higher than ever? The courts are full of people spending money and time on custody and property battles....men are cheating on their spouses and visa-versa....not to mention the endless talk shows of baby daddys and "You are Not the Father".....

This is about Tolerance and Understanding.....LGBT folks will never go away so DEAL WITH IT!! And stop buying into scare tactics from these hate groups who claim your kids will be taught Marriage 101 in schools...if you haven't learned yet than how will YOUR kids?

Nuff said....read a book and get ya mind right.

I have been so distracted by real life stuff I haven't had time to spill all my thoughts and feelings out on here lately....to be honest I have shifted alot of my energy to Facebook which is where most of my friends and acquaintances have been findng me...unfortunately they do not have as good of a music promotions setup as MySpace so that part I will keep up...

So I wanted to kinda truncate everything on this blog everything that has transpired in the last few months...work has been great! I have moved from the education side over to the design side this season and working on various editing projects..I needed the change of pace, seriously. I was feeling a little burnout since I have been teaching for almost 8 years...that's why I like to freelance and do music stuff so I have something different going on...next year I will be launching a bunch of stuff...trying to release a short novel and a children's DVD-book...details later.

I can't believe it's almost Halloween-then ObamaWins-then Thanksgiving-then Christmas-then 2009...so much going on and I am feeling the change both good and bad...family stuff has been crazy and I am taking Thanksgiving off to hang with friends...Christmas Day I wanna do a "Good Deeds Day" and spend a whole day giving back to folks..haven't figured out what yet but whoever interested let me know....

Oh yeah...so the cd sales are ok...the music industry has changed so much but the digital distribution sales have been steady...I am hopeful to keep pushing and try to get out to Europe and do some shows and possibly license and distribute out there...we'll see.

I will try to keep the blog going..it helps me prepare for the book stuff and frame things in my head.....holla back if you like what you see...peace!

Sometimes when I'm out and about I play a little game..kind of a societal test. I try to make different cultures see me differently..I say hello and thank u..I open doors and give up my seat to old ladies..now I know you're thinking that these are basic and common courtesies but take a look at the world right now..its a mess..people are struggling to put gas in their tanks and keep their homes..and now in Oakland and other cities are plagued by robberies...as a strong intelligent black man I can no longer deal with being apart of this..I want someone to represent what we can really be in this world..beautiful people with beautiful minds..I've said this before: No More Excuses..if u want to be an ambassador for change it starts with the heart then the mind and then the will sets it all in motion.. I hope we get that "dream deffered" and I hope we can break free from the past and teach others who we really are and who we can BE...
