Category: Parties and Nightlife
Since my actual birthday is next sat on the 24th I decided to have it a week early since no one ever goes out on christmas eve. Most of my friends turned up to the party, which is all good considering I gave everyone almost no notice about it, though *raised eyebrows* get pointed at those that failed to come, bar Andy who happend to be busy coughing up blood at the time...what a lovely reason. So it started off pretty early, we went to Worlds End in Camden before going off to Afterskool..where we didnt get in, so we headed off to good old Metros. The train journey there. Welsh Ben and Kitty from left to right: Me (looking a bit like a hobo with those gloves), Jason (hiding behind me), Steve and Rich. Finally at the Worlds End, about an hour late, though luckly everone else did the 'casually late thing' so we all turned up at the same time. The old college friends, I was actually just proving to Ben that the flash did work..the silly boy had the camera on the manual setting, he's from Wales after all, even things like electricity is a new concept to him. ;) Yay, the flash finally works.. from left to right: Kitty, Rik (or is that Rick), Laila and me. The girls again Ben and I..both of us try very very hard to not be drunk and drop our pint glasses by the looks of it. Rik and Laila..again. A view from upstairs..dangling off the iron spiral staircase. Jim and Paula Pint glasses and Rik (for some reason he's in alot of photos) More of the troublesome two. Jean and Steph, im not sure why the photo came out blurry, I recon steph sabotaged my camera deliberately to keep her identity obscure, oh, she's also on crutches, but you can't tell.. Richard in Metro's. Metro's Ben with his free hat he found..well, he saw someone drop by accident then picked it up for himself...the naughty boy. At this point we're trying to make out way to Trafalgar Square to get a bus home, while all the time im complaining im hungry and on the look out for a chip shop. Trafalgar Square. A blurry Steve in a very un-blurry London. The world wizzing by. Nelsons Column. Ben and Kitty trying to run away from the camera..they treat me worse than the paparazzi. A good night, I was nackered by the time we got home..which was around 4am I think, the night bus decided to stop us off somewhere totally random and refused to take us to Harrow, so we had to get a taxi the rest of the way. I really should have made an effort to take photo's of everyone, I didn't even get to plaster people with the Skull and Cross-Bone platsters that Kitty got for me. Im sure i'll take photo's of the cool gifts i've got another time.

So, for those of you that dont know, I work at the British Museum doing their website, I havent been there long, and spent ALL of last week deliberating whether to take a new job, which i've decided to take, so from February i'll be working just off of Covent Garden. This British Museum at night My office snack, Im quite impressed that a peperami contains 108% pork. It was nice to have one as the odd snack for the first week of work, but after a few days im quite sick of them, maybe in a years time the craving will come back..but not for some time. View from my office window My Office The new 2005 50 pence piece, I've only seen a few of them about.

How can taking a 30 min walk home take nearly an hour...was I abducted by aliens? not quite, being slightly drunk didn't have much to do to it, it was all down to being a cool foggy night and me thinking it will be great to take lots of photos. Oddly enough i've never noticed this sign before, though all I could see in the field were sheep. Maybe that why you have to 'beware the bull' because he's indisguise as a sheep. This one is by far my fav timelapse photo, so since I have a nice high res version of it i've decided to make it my new desktop background. :) yes is me, doing a typical myspace photo..came in drunk thinking 'ooo lets take photo's of myself in the mirror..' Ben seems to think I look like Jarvis Cocker.

The Old Pier. photographing the photographer. man and his dog. Please check out the following websites, I reccomend them, that and I got to chat to the creators ;)

I had lost all hope recently in the Junction being a good night out, however with the students back I seemed to have been proved wrong and had the most amazing time out. Once again drinking a combination of fosters mixed with rum, then tequila and then with Mr.Jack..then I was given a horrible bottle of VK..but still drank it..however I felt pretty ill when I got home...I need not go into what happend next... Time lapse photo of the Junction, actually this was at the point where after one person succefully drank a pitcher of beer, his friend tried it...failed..puked up back into the picture...then carried on drinking..this happend quite a few times before someone took the pitcher away from him leaving him to throw up all over the place, not a pretty sight but he did get a round of applause from everyone outside. One of those edible bras...I think it CLEARLY speaks for itself. I know all the classy people. Richard drinking from a shoe. Random friends of Jean. Jean and her man, she's another myspace lass and a fan of Ninja Bunny ..YAY!...god it's such a small world..either that or the Junction REALLY is the place to be. The end of the night food.

Now, considering my myspace name you can judge my excitement to what was official pirate day (no i havent made this up). There was much rum, merryment and the occasional virgin maiden, though im still unsure as to the validity of the maiden. ;) I love my pirate hat, so much so I slept in it. Sea Wench Hailey and Cannon Master Willy (otherwise known as Richard) Yarr! Pirates together. Being drunk at home with my camera...just be greatfull I didnt upload the others. I Looooove my hat!

I managed to get invited along to a friend of a friends birthday party, even though Chris's birthday wasnt for a few months or something...anyway, much merryment was had, met a nice lady called Kitty (not sleeping kitty) and managed to avoid all the gayness that the lads were getting up to. (as pictured below). After getting extreamly drunk I ended up getting home around 4:30am, getting lost in South Harrow (mental note, never trust a woman's directions). Considering South Harrow is south of Harrow, you would imagine they're pretty close together, but it turns out they're MILES apart. If it wasn't for the 24hr 140 bus i'd have been scuppered. lucky the bus took me to Harrow & Wealdstone (ok im rambling now) suffice to say a quick jog later & I arrived home. Richard doing his merry dance..yes, it really is a dance. The gayness I avoided thanks to Kitty. :)
