Moonlee Records 5th anniversary!!! Crazy weekend party with the best lemon around... Mr. Moonlee and his little helpers Analena, IN-SANE and in Ljubljana also Cripple and Casino. Mr. Moonlee praznuje 5 let ! s promocijo novih plošč skupin... Danes, natanko pet let in 18 ploščkov kasneje, Mr. Moonlee
praznuje in zaključuje svojo prvo petletko. Ob tej priložnosti svojim
fenom in ostalim glasbenim zanesenjakom podarja dve povsem novi plošči:
ANALENA – Inconstantinopolis in IN-SANE - Trust These Hands… Are Worthless.
pomenljivim naslovom Incostantinopolis. ANALENA
sledi svojemu instinktu ter staplja očarljive melodije z zapleteno in
bleščečo ritmično nepopustljivostjo. Osupljiv in brezmadežen
inštrumental v kombinaciji z duhovitimi, poetičnimi ter hkrati
neobremenjenimi besedili poskrbi za vse ostalo. Njihovo izpovednost je
težko ujeti v kalup, zato za ANALENO vsekakor velja:
one man's hardcore is another man's noise is another man's punk.
Njihova najnovejša avantura je zgoščen in uravnotežen preplet -
udarnosti in atmosferičnosti, brezkompromisnosti in zasanjanosti,
natančnosti in kaotičnosti, razigranosti in napetosti. ANALENA je pronicljiva in zrela zasedba, iskren izliv odločnosti in strasti v polnem razmahu. www.analena.orgwww.myspace.com/analenaIN-SANE Novi plošček poimenovan Trust These Hands…
zarisuje vzporednice s skupinami kot so Against Me, Hot Water Music in Propagandhi. Poleg tega je IN-SANE nedvomno
koncertno najaktivnejša slovenska skupina, ki vsako leto odigra par
evropskih turnej, na katerih si vztrajno dviguje prepoznavnost ter
novači nove oboževalce. In prav v svojih živih nastopih IN-SANE
najbolj učinkovito poosebljajo to, kar naj bi punkrock predstavljal –
energijo, strast, predanost. Dvignite pesti v zrak in se pripravite za
singalong! www.in-sane.siwww.myspace.com/insanesloCRIPPLE AND CASINO CRIPPLE AND CASINO
je relativno mlad in svež zagrebški post punk bend, ki bo v Ljubljani
prvič predstavil svoj istoimenski prvenec, ki je nedavno izšel za
neodvisno ameriško založbo Radio is Down iz Olympia, Washington. CRIPPLE AND CASINO
v svojih pesmih mešajo post punk, noise rock in post hardcore vzorce,
Click Here To View Event

Long Time No News...
So, so, so... We haven't written anything on here for quite a while now. Well, lazy as hell, that's what we are. But only lazy to write things here... otherwise we've been really busy the past couple of months. We've been on two tours so far, one took us to the ex-Yugoslavian countries and we've been to Benelux in March. we were writing new songs and believe it or not, we've actually recorded them. we are finishing the album as we speak, Dario and Shaggie are stuck with Mr. Aco Razbornik in Studio Tivoli mixing the tracks. The album is gonna be out in late autumn. We are really glad to say we've got 5(!!!) european labels releasing it: Our mother label Moonlee Records italian friends No Reason Records, our new german friend Joe from Fond Of Life Records, the glorious boys and girls from Benelux at Shield Recordings and last but not least our new swiss label Bad Mood ecords. So stoked. The cover art and design is done by mister Chritophe (KarmaOrange.com). Looks nice!
Also, our dear frinds, you will be able to see us on tour again, starting this friday. We will be visiting good frinds and making new ones across Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. This is gonna be a blast. We don't have the new cd with us yet, but we will have the new t-shirt designs as well as the older ones with us along with "keeping ourselves close to our hearts" CD and a bunch of distro. Yep, yep... we are burning flags on the way, drinking all your beer and crashing on your floors, so watch out!!!
later this year we are planing a tour which will take us all the way to Portugal (we still have to make up for not coming last year) and some weekend shows with Analena (our Moonlee labelmates) to promote the new album... Release party will be announced soon enough.
Take care and see you soon, we'll be hitting your town in the near future! ;-)

................ The second tour this year... We were very glad to get going again. Eyes on the road, here we go.
.. ..
05.03.2009, Cafe Denkmal, Salzburg, Austria
Our first show took place in the small cafe Denkmal in Salzburg, one of my favorite cities in Europe. The beautiful birthplace of Mozart surrounded by the Alps and friendliest people and friends. We were supposed to play our first acoustic show ever... how will it turn out? I didn't have a clue. Dario and me practised some songs in the tourbus while driving up from Ljubljana to Salzburg. We get to play 8 songs, plus maybe some extra, we will see. We arrive at Salzburg at about 19.30, we meet up with Puddel who's promoting the show. We see the Denkmal and we are stoked, a nice cosy place, with space for maximum 60 people. We meet up with Zock from Astpai & The Plague Mass who is gonna play an acoustic set as well this night. We take our stuff and bring it over to Puddels place which is just an 5 minute walk from the venue. We get an awsome vegan curry with rice and practice our songs some more. We returned at the cafe Denkmal and the show starts. Puddel and Giorgio from 7YearsBadLuck start playing acoustic covers... a funny set with the songs you just have to sing along. Great. Next up is Zock, he does an awsome job, I was starting to wonder why we get to play as last, we suck compared to those guys. We've never played an acoustic show before, so we don't know how to start using our voices... after the second song of the set me and Dario get in the feeling and it's all good. People seemed to like it. We finish the set and the crowd wants an encore... We give them stickin in my eye together with Giorgio and Puddel. One more? I start playing »Fűr immer Punk« from Hladno Pivo. It's in german and people just couldn't believe the words they've heard coming out of my mouth, was pretty cool anding the set with that song. I liked the acoustic set, it's strange but it's good, we should do it more often i suppose. We start talking to friends, Lazy Alex, Giorgio, Zock and his girlfriend and Puddel. My head started hurting so I asked to go to sleep. I heard later that the guys killed off a bottle or two of tequillas, what can you do.
.. ..
06.03.2009, Day Off Driving
We woke up at Puddels and me and Dario grabbed some coffee in the city center, it was a beautiful walk throught the town, lovely place, Salzburg. We come back to Puddels place and wake up Shaggie, get some showers and off we are, we have a show tommorrow in Belgium, driving across Germany at least, would be a great deal of the journey. We get to sleep at about 2 am somewhere in Germany.
.. ..
07.03.2009, Rockcafe, Leuven, Belgium
We arrive in Leuven at around 14.00, and we take a walk through the nice city. We caught the carneval, was really funny. People threw out so much candy. I still got some in my pockets. We had a nice coffee in the pub near the Rockcafe when we get a messagge from Daan the bassist of Face The Fax, that he is at the place. We pick him up and go to his place, where we get some nice vegan thai food, some beers and aslo meet up with Dennis, the guitarist of Face The Fax and his girlfriend Tine.We get back to the Rockcafe and start loading in which seems to be pretty hard, cause the venue is upstairs and the stairway is tiny and really steep, we've got heavy and huge boxes to get up there. First band is Another Effort from Leuven, Daans brother plays in the band, nice rock music. After them it's time for Face The Fax, really nice show, nice tunes, I forgot how good they sound, the last time I saw them was in out old rehearsal place in Gornja Radgona last summer. They finish up and it's our turn. We play our first real set on the tour and it's quite alright, we had fun with it. As last it's the dutchies For Japan, really tight band, nice songs which remind me of Bigwig. Great show. We get in a conversation with a drummer who turns out to be a nuisance being a smart ass about how we should play our music. Well we couldn't listen to it anymore so we started taking away our stuff. When we finished we sat in a bar across the Rockcafe together with Elke and start talking and drinking beer, when this guys comes out from the bar next to the one we are sitting at and starts throwing chairs into it, screaming some shit in flemish and throwing more chairs. He almost incites a mass fight, but to my suprise everyone leaves him alone, and he does his shit for the next 20 minutes. If that happened in Slovenia, he'd be already laying all bloody on the floor, especially cause he hit one guy in the head for trying to stop him. Things get calm for two minutes and he starts over again. Then the police shows up, asking him a few questions and they leave him alone. What the fuck? In our country he'd be taken away instantly, first cuffed and probably a bit bruised from the police beating him up. Belgians seem pretty civilized. While Elke was trying to explain that belgian people are usually not that stupid we get to drink a couple of Duvels. We decide it's time to go home, we have to be pretty early in Ieper the day after. We get to Daans place, I called dibbs at the matress, hell yeah.
.. ..
08.03.2009, Vortn Vis, Ieper, Belgium
We get up early and massively start emptying Daans food supplies together with For Japan boys, Dennis and Tine. We get a shower and off we are to Ieper. It's supposed to be a great show at the Vortn Vis together with Venerea. The Vortn Vis is a small place that can fit up to 100 people probably. We arrive as requested at around 14.30, meet up with a great friend of ours Bert from The Ignored, load in and start chilling. Soon after the guys from For Japan ariive as well. Soon the Vis started getting full, a nice Sundays matinee... interesting. For Japan start the show, they had a great set, even better than the day before, to bad not to many people took the time to give them a listen. After this it's time for The Ignored, Ralphie (the singer and brother from Bert) is still hurt from a snowboarding accident in december so he is a little bit restricted to his space because of his knee. They play a good set, they have a new drummer, the last itme I saw them though they seemed to be better with Junior from face The Fax drumming at tour place in Gornja Radgona. They cover »What Happened« from H2O. After them it's time for Drunktank. Honestly I didn't get to see them i was watching the Zen Of Screaming in the car with Dario warming up our voices. Darios voice is pretty sore, so he needs it badly. Later I found out we have actually already played with Drunktank in the Anarres in Dordrecht; NL. We start playing our set. Since Darios voice is a bit fucked we have to leave out a couple of songs he is singing, I sing Found My Place. We have good set and first pogo and stage dives start to happen. We finish our set with an acoustic song.
The headliners are Venerea, all hell breaks lose and there are actually two layers of people in the Vis. The ones below and the stagediving people. A look at the ceiling reveals a mass of footprints, people were actually walking on the ceiling. The show ends early for us so we stay at the Vis hanging out with the guys from Venerea, getting drunk and laughing our asses of. We take the van to Berts place and have a night food fest at his place, his girlfriend Tina prepaired some awsome vegan stuff again. We get to listen to the human jukebox, the bassist of Venerea plays an acoustic set of 1 and ½ hours. In the meantime Dario disappears. We get to sleep, Dario emerges all cold, he was asleep in the van and outside was freezing.
.. ..
.. ..
09.03.2009 Day Off, Ieper, Belgium
We sleep in, nice. We wake up and make ourselves coffee, start talking to Bert, Dennis and the Tinas. We get a really nice breakfast and start watching the Propagandhi DVD, what a show... We take a look at the documentaries on ti as well. Tine and Dennis leave for their home in Antwerp. Bert and Tina prepare pizza for us. Great stuff, we start watching »Punk's Not Dead« documentary. Bert and Tina took us to see the last post in Ieper, amazing experience. We get back home to their place and start watching a brilliant belgian series called Matroejka's which is about trafficking young eastern european girls to Belgium and Netherlands and forcing them into sex slavery. We watched seven 40 minutes long series in a row. Then we went to bed, Bert and Tina had to work the next day...
.. ..
10.03.2009, De Rots, Antwerp, Belgium
We sleep in again, we decide to watch the last three parts of the Matroejkas series, have a nice breakfast. We wait for Bert to return from his work and we head to Antwerp. Ralphie is coming with us as well but he takes his own car. We stop in Ghent on the way to pick up Tina and in no time we are in Antwerp. We arrive at the De Rots a nice little rock bar in the center of Antwerp. We meet Roeal a really nice guy, he is promoting the show, he gave us great vegan food. We also for the first time on the tour meet up with the nice guys from The Living Daylights. The show starts with The Octopussys, they were ok. Then Face The Fax play and have a great set, every time i see them they are better and better, really cool. After them The Living Daylights. Really nice sound, cool band and nice music. We play as last and we do a fairly good job, Dario's voice is still broken. We get an offer that we can sleep over at Dennis and Tines place which is good, cause we don't want to sleep at De Rots. We load in and drive through a jewish neighboorhood and finally get to their place. We smoke some nice weed and sleep in a warm and comfy place. Ideal.
.. ..
.. ..
11.03.2009 L'Alhambra, Nancy, France
We wake up at Dennis and Tines place, have some coffee and a shower and off we are to France. It's the only show in France we play on this tour, but we've never been to Nancy before, so we're really stoked about it. We drive 5 or 6 hours and arrive at Nancy at about 16.00, we take a walk thorugh the center and grab a coffee. When we come back to the pub the guys from the Nunchacks are already outside smoking spliffs. We load in and start waiting for the food. Djool the singer of the Nunchacks took a shot at a vegan chilli. We decide to take another round through the city center and return just in time to se the Ekoline set. They played rock music. After them it was time for the Nunchacks, they played a really cool set, reminds me of New Bomb Turks mixed with the crazy voice of The Hives. We finally get to play to 30 or 40 rock enthusiasts. They don't know what hit them. We finally play a whole set and Dario is all better. We play the show and get a good feedback from the mostly rocknroll audience. We load back in and go to the hotel Djool booked for us, the boys gave us some weed for good night sleep. We get to the hotel and start relaxing.
.. ..
12.03.2009 Kafe Aloys, Eindhoven, Netherlands
We wake up at 10 minutes to 9 to catch the breakfast but to our suprise there was no more breakfast. We start looking for the food in the cafeteria and when we find it this guy (probably the hotel manager) comes running down the stairs screaming at us in french, when we say we payed for the breakfast which is from 6.30 – 9.30 he starts yelling: »No, no!!! Finish!« I show him the time and he says the breakfast is from 6-8, good that somebody told us that. The guy takes the food away in fury and we apologise for not knowing, we go back to bed, we can sleep in to half past eleven cause we have to leave the hotel by 12. Or so we thought. The manager comes knocking at our doors at 11 saying that we should leave the hotel by 10. I was really pissed, he makes up things along the day or what. It's written on the doors that we have to depart by 12. We pack up our stuff and leave Nancy, stopping in a supermarket on the way to get some food. We start smelling gas shortly after we got on the highway and find out that our engine is leaking fuel. Dario fixes the problem in no time and we're off to the Netherlands. We arrive in Eindhoven at about 18.00, it's our third time at the Aloys. We love it. The nice guys from The Living Daylights are already at the bar chilling, hungover from the night before. Pinkel cooks up some great food and we get our bellies full. Soon after Pieter arrives, he and Pinkel organised the show for us, it's really nice to see friends on tour. We set up the stage and the merchandise and wait for the first band to start. PFU start playing, I didn't like it that much... was not my cup of tea. I was sitting at the merchandise when I saw more familiar faces, it was the guys from Smash The Statues and Willem from Antillectual, really nice of them to drop by and chat a little. Always a pleasure to see those guys. Also Noam fromThis Routine Is Hell is on the show, we play with them the following day. After PFU it was time for Grey Days, they sound like a younger Bad Religion version, really good, but nothing special. After them it was time for TLD, again an amazing set, really love the guitar melodies and the music. They also had a better sound than the last time in Antwerp. Really, really good. We played as last, everytime we come to the Aloys there is more people on the show, this is a good sign. We played the worst set on the tour in my opinion. Wasn't good, for me at least. The feedback was mixed... We stayed at the Aloys, drinking outr drinking coins away and hanging out. The UK boys gathered around the bar and salivated all over the waitress at he bar. We got some spliffs from Pinkel and they were up in smoke in no time. At two the Aloys closes so we packed our stuff and we were off to Pieters place in Tilburg. We got some food and some beers a good night spliff and the snoring party began.
.. ..
13.03.2009 Piratenbar, Scheveningen, Netherlands
We woke up at Pieters placeand the sun wasshining outside, we had a nice breakfast and we decided to leave for Scheveningen, a town on the coast of the North Sea. We arrived at Scheveningen at 15.30 and found out where the Piratenbar is. We then drove to the beach and had a nice walk on it, the weather was so fine. Afteran hour or so, we went back to the Piratenbar where they just opened the kitchen. The Piratenbar is a squatted harbor warehouse in the port of Scheveningen, has a nice little beacjh of it's own, a concert hall, places for people to do art, people are living there, a bar with food. We arrived just in time and loaded in, sat down in the bar got some coffee and ordered the food. There was quite a lot of people coming in and everybody was ordering food, also older people the ones that you are not used to seeing at the squats usually, which is pretty cool. We got a nice carrot soup a great vegan main dish with salad and a dessert, awsome. Soon the guys from TLD arrived and after them also the boys from This Routine Is Hell together with Tom from Smash The Statues. We chilled out a little bit at the bar had some tea and bio organic beer (which is actually really cheap). The show started at about 21.30 with This Routine Is Hell, they played old school hardcore with some newer influences, sounded like Minor Threat meets old Raised Fist, pretty cool. I asked the guys from TLD if we could play as the second band and we could go on next. We had the best show on our tour in my opinion that night, it was all good, I had a lot of fun on the stage and I could see the people enjoyed it as well. As last it was TLD. Another amazing set, everytime I saw them in the last couple of days I enjoyed it so much, I am really glad we got to play some shows with them, it was a pleasure. My ear started to hurt and soon a headache followd so I went to the van and had some sleep. The Next thing I know we were alreayd on the road, I didn't get to say goodbye to anyone, I am really sorry about that. We have a long drive ahead of us all the way to the south of Germany at the Czech/German border.

14.03.2009 Jugendcafe, Zwiesel, Germany
I woke up in the van somewhere in Germany, driving on the highways. Shaggie was doing his shift. Dario was sleeping in the back seats. I joined Shaggie upfront. We got into a traffic jam and moved only slowly. It took us 2 hours to pass 20 km. We finally stopped at a gas staion and went to sleep. Me and Dario woke up after a couple of hours and had some food. Shaggie was dead asleep on the bad in the back. When Dario went to the toilet I was lucky enough to be saerched by the police, they always seem to pick me for no reason. They asked a couple of questions took a quick look around the car and into my bag and left. Little did they know we still have some leftovers from Netherlands. Well, lucky us. So we get back on the road and we are in Zwiesel and arrive a little late. All the other bands arealready there. It's nice to seethe boys from Soey after a long long while, we meet the guys from The Fine Print, we will organize a show for them in april in Ljubljana. We get to the food, a vegan chilli, mnammnam. Soey start the night, they play an awsome set, It's been too long since I've seen them the last time, they are amazing. Next on is The Fine Print... really enjoyed the show, can't wait for more in Ljubljana. We play on next, we have fun, it's our last day, so we are stinky, tired, hungover and partially dumb from the trip... After us it's time for the oldfellas from Rusticate, my earache starts again so I go lay down a bit. After the show has finished we load in the van and off we go, back to home sweet home....

................Balkan Tour 2009 Tourreport
.. ..
30.01.2009 Prostor, Čakovec, Croatia
We are running late as always. We were supposed to leave Ljubljana at around 3 pm, unfortunately, we got late an left Ljubljana at 5 pm. But it's all good. There's a highway all the way to the border in Petišovci near Lendava and it took us only a couple of hours. We arrived at the club Prostor (the room) in Čakovec, met Igor from the Farewell Reason, who was the promoter that night. A promosing Friday, with the croatioan national handball team playing in the semi finals turned out to be quite good. Around 50 people showed up. The opener Aksimoron from Zagreb played a short set, the guys are young and they still need to work on their stuff, but soon it'll come. We had an ok set, we played some new songs and people seem to like them, so it's ok. Igor made some nice Pasulj (Bean stew) and we were ready to partee!!! This time we brought along two of our best friends as roadies, Mato and Gezi. We went to this disco bar in the center of Čakovec and were surpised at the state of croatian patriotism, not a single one of the visitors in the disco had dressed in anything else but the red white croatian chess table. Songs blasting from the boxes were all about homeland love and the national handball team... little didi they know at that time that they were gonna lose the finals on their own turf. After the redwhite night we went back to the club and grabbed some sleep.

31.01.2009 Osijek United, Osijek, Croatia
After waking up we had some more of Igor's bean stew and that was pretty evident in the tourbus I guess. We stopped at some parking space on the way to Osijek and found an abandoned puppy, all cold, hungry and dirty. We picked him up and took him with us to Osijek. We decided to call him Seo (short for Sead), causeelievers ; we watched the movie Outsider in the car. We knew that Osijek is gonna be special. The guys from TDWB and FP promised us a crazy party and the Brkday (mustache day – when people for no particular reason leave their mustaches to grow and look silly, just for one day). We were going to play at Osijek United, to make up for two times that we didn't get to play in Osijek because of various reasons. We had a nice dinner at Buda's house, where his mother prepaired the best vegan lasagna, and off courde the meat version as well for the nonbelivers ;-). We then took of to see FP practice in their space, crazy new songs, can't wait to see them perform them live. After the short stop we went over to the club to soundcheck and found out that the people from Osijek already got our little puppy a new home, hopefully Seo is alright now. The show started pretty late, cause: The Brkday. There was around 150 people in the club when TDWB started playing. Great set, super songs, a lot of enrgy and passion in the music, which is some kind of hc punk with screamo influences (but the good kind of screamo influences). We headlined that night and people were liking it... the new songs sounded kinda lame this time, both of our voices cracked at the show, so it was not a lot of energy behind the lyrics, too bad, the atmosphere was really good. The afterparty was a blast... topless male bodies, slippery floor and singalongs. We didn't go to sleep until 4.30 am....

01.02.2009 Danguba, Beograd, Serbia
We woke up with hangovers, headaches and sore voices. Went to the club to pick up our stuff, said goodbye to the friends from TDWB and off we were to Beograd, Serbia. The drive is not that long, but counting in that we have to pass the border between CRO and SRB and all the paperwork we always have to add another 1 ½ hours. We announced ourselves for dinner at my (Mátejas) grandmothers and grandfathers apartment in Novi Beograd. Those guys are still living the dream, in love like the first time they met. Grandpa prepared an perfect dinner with 3 courses... crazy. Smoked another cigarette together and off we were to the club Danguba in the center of the city. Although it was a Sunday in Belgrade that doesn't matter, cause there are 2 million people living in the capital of Serbia and the capital of our former joint country Yugoslavia. We arrived at the place and it was really a nice place with two bars and a nice small stage. Petar from Blankfile and the crew greeted us, load in and soundcheck for the first band. Slowly ther were people gathering at the Danguba and soon it was pretty full, i'd say about 200-250 people. The first band played kinda fast old school hardcore and were quite alright. Then it was time for Blankfile to play, they played a really nice set, songs that will remind you of Strung Out and bands like that. We played as the next band and did a good job although our sore voices didn't quite help the whole picture. Nothing Left from Beograd played as the last band of the evening, a generic metalcore band complete with breakdowns and mosh parts, nothing special. After the show we got some food Petar made for us (first time vegan cooking) which was really good. We packed the stuff, crew shots and off we were to Skopje, Macedonia.

02.02.2009 Castro, Skopje, Macedonia
After a whole nights drive we arrived at the SRB/MAC border. We are lucky enough to get harassed by a serbian border patrol dude searching for drugs. It's because of the way we look. So it was to the policemans oval office, clothes of and guess what he didn't find a thing but he did get a view of our pckers.... sucker. We passed the border laughing at the fortune we have to get asked at every border: »Well boys, do you carry any drugs?« As if i told you even if i had some... shitheads. We arrived at Skopje at about 12 am and soon afterwards Grga our long time friend picked us up at the hotel Kontinental. He took us for a perfect brunch in a restaurant with great food and rakija. After we've had brunch he took us to the hostel he booked for us to get some rest, where i found out i lost the wallet with all my and band money. Never found it again. First signs of bad luck on this tour. We had a rest until 6pm and then we went to the club Castro in the center of Skopje. A nice place which can fit up to 400 people. We soon met Grgas brother Pasha, Filip and Zoki came shortly after. We did the soundcheck and it was waiting time. Fonija strted the show, nice band, young boys they have a bright future ahead of them. Next it was Noviot Pochetok, with whom we played thefirst time we were in Macedonia in 2006.They've gotten a lot better since then. This Monday night turned out to be really great. We started playing and there was like 250 people again in the place. We really enjoyed our set, although our voices were still sore. After the show, we loaded the stuff in and went to the Skopje central footbal stadium where we went to the club Marakana, a tradition that we never gave up. Every time in Macedonia, we have to visit. Dancing, drinking our heads off until 5 am. We barely found our way back to the hostel.

03.02.2009 Tunel, Kumanovo, Macedonia
We woke up just in time to get the breakfast, guess what we did next. Went back to sleep, the party last night was just to heavy on us all. We slept until 2pm then Pasha picked us up to take us to his parents house for dinner. There we met their parents after 2 years, still as happy as they were the last time we saw them. We met Pashas wife and his son David, who was born shortly after we were on tour in mAcedonia the first time. We started eating what mom Mira prepared for us. I guess we ate like 1 and a half hours. Just exaggarating, but was really soooooo gooooood.... We were off from Skopje at 6pm, it's only a half an hour drive to Kumanovo. We arrived at Kumanovo with some complications cause we followed the boys from Noviot Pochetok who obviously were a little bit stoned, hehehehe. We met Marko form Boiling Point Association who sets up shows there. We were supposed to play a show in the place called Tunel. Fonija started the show and we asked the guys from NP if we could play as second, too much food has taken it's toll. We were barely playing, plus the technical difficulties made this show the worst show on tour so far. Nonetheless people seemed to enjoy it. We stayed and saw NP and their set. We returned back to Skopje where we booked ourselves the hostel from the day before. Tripe the soundguy from the day before invited ud to celebrate his birthday with him in the Castro and we accepted. Dancing the night away, drinking long island tea and just having fun. We were the last people to leave... at almost 6 am.

04.02.2009 Dom Na Mladi, Shtip, Macedonia
Guess how we woke up? Just in time not to miss the breakfast and back to sleep until Pasha threw us out of the beds again. And I am glad he did. He showed us around the city center of Skopje, which is really a beautiful city. We sat down in an english pub in the center and started drinking again... Marko from Kumanovo joined us shortly after, and a fter a while also Vanja, a friend of Pashas... We met up with the rest of the crew – Grga, Zoki, Filip, NP and started our journey towards Shtip. Shtip is only a 100 km away from Skopje. A nice little town, with the speciality called Pastermajlija – don't ask. Meat to the fullest. We played the town on the lat tour and there was 20 people. This time it was at least 3 or 4 times more people showing up. NP had a really nice set and we headlined. We played the best set of the tour and even did the NOFX cover together with Fitz the singer of NP on the microphone. We packed our stuff after the show and it was back to Skopje, for another night at the Castro with Bob Marleys songs... we weren't gonna sleep tonight cause we had a really long drive ahead of us and the most complications we've ever had on any tour so far.

05.02.2009 Caffe Switch, Podgorica, Montenegro
We started driving at 5.30am, we tgought we will pass the new republic of Kosovo on the way to Montenegro – this would actually be the closest way. So we went to the Kosovian/Macedonian border and the first complications emerged. We have these papers called ATA CARNET to have as less complications on the borders as only possible... This time the complications just started to pile up. First we couldn't pass the normal border between Macedonia and Kosovo but had to go for the Cargo terminal. Off course the macedonians ripped us off for »staying« at the terminal for 20 euros. That was ok with us at first, but wait and see. We then passed the Macedonian border and slowly were entering, or so we thought, Kosovo. First we had to pay for »desinfection« of the vehicle, whic looks like you are driving your car through a small pond of water – and that costs 5 euros. We arrive at the Kosovian border and the border patrol informs us that there is a shift change at 7.30 and we arrived at 7 am, so there is no way we can pass unless we leave him a small bribe in the passport. The border control then figured that we have no insurance for the car... we show them the green card, our insurance and off course because Kosovo is a new »country« nothing is actually valid there. I got informed over the slovenian embassy in Prishtina that the insurance for out type of the car costs around 50 euros, but the assholes demanded 250 euros for insurance from us to pass Kosovo, which is unacceptable. We turned around and arrived at he macedonian border again where we had to pay another stay on the terminal believe it or not, 20 euros go to waste again, although we still have a paper from the time before on which it's written that it's valid for 72 (!!!) hours. We pay it with a sour taste in our mouths and leave the kosovian/macedonia border to take the longer (much longer) route over Serbia. We arrive at the MAC/SRB border and get sent to the cargo terminal once again, probably we have stupid written all over our foreheads. We get weighed, they don't give a fuck that we have all the papers sorted out, they demand another 60 euros, when we say that's just to much they quickly arrange something with the papers so we get to pay »only« 45 euros. On the bill was written 30 euros. We start drivnig in Serbia which has the most expensive road tolls after France, no shit... we get ripped of time after time, again and again. We get stopped by the police first time that day. We are already on the road for 12 hours at the time we arrive at the SRB/MNE border, which I was informed is pretty good. You wish. Two barracks extremely annoying border patrol and corrupt customs. I informed myself about the eco toll for Montenegro and for our type of bus it is 10 euros or so it's written. We were demanded to pay 80 euros. After this we said we can't afford that much and the next offer was 50, take it or leave it. We payed 50 euro and got a little bit pissed at the guy and he fuckin started slamming the doors and the windows. Another four hour drive with the eco tax which isn't evident at all if you look around the place, cause everything is dirty as hell. We get stopped by the police for the second time that day, we are given the attitude of : you're wothless assholes, stupid kids. We finally arrive in Podgorica where there is a sold out bar waiting for us to play the show, we set up the gear as we find out we are missing the hi hat stand, we seem to have left it in Shtip the day before. Dragan and Mladen are really nice guys so they get everything fixed in no time. We start playing the show after a 16 hour drive. We play 2 songs and after the second song Darios Marshall overheats and won't start working again. We try to play another 2 songs over the main mixer bur it sounds terrible, we have to quit playing, the show goes to hell due to all the frustration and tiredness from the whole day. We apologise to the crowd, who are pretty pissed. So is the owner of the bar and won't pay up, we get in even more financial trouble. After losing the wallet, being ripped of by serbian road tolls, corruption, burned down Marshall amp, lost hi hat stand this is officially the worst day on tour we ever had. At least we have a bed and some food that night cause Dragan and Mladen took good care of us, but not without another police check. We stop at Dragans place and get checked by the police officers one more time, a nice end to the day.
.. ..
06.02.2009 Split, Croatia
We wake up at 9 am, we have a long ride ahead of us. We have breakfast at Dragans place have a chat with his super nice mom and finally say goodbye. We are really sorry that things turned out that way the night before, but we'll make it up to them that's a promise, We keep our promises. We left for Budva, a seaside place at the Adriatic sea in Montenegro, on the way to Split. We get a cup of coffee and off we go. We stop in Herceg Novi and get some food for the road from what we have left of the money. We get stopped at the MNE/Cro border, get searched for drugs again and looky looky they didn't find anything, again. I ask the border patrol if we really look that stupid... It would be stupid to risk another visit to the countries for carrying some spliffs with us. Well we get to Split at around 6pm, meet Oki and the crew. Club Kocka is one of the best clubs I've ever been to. It's a legalised squat in Split and has a concert hall that can fit up to 600 people. We played with a young band Immanuel Cunt. The guys at Split cook up a great mushroom stew and take good care of us. We play a good show and start enjoying the weirdest afterparty ever... Split is home of FC Hajduk and the notorious Torcida, one of the most crazy hooligans you get on the Balkans... You can imagine the noise that was in the backstage – AJDU, AJDU!!! Mi smo Torcida iz Spilta, bit cemo prvak svita!!!
.. ..
07.02.2009 Postojna, Slovenija
The last day of the tour. We start driving from Split along the coastline to Rijeka and from Rijeka via the highway to Postojna. Home at last. We are playing a show with the italian skapunk band Carry All. We get good food and a nice last show with quite a lot of people, given that there is at least 3 other local shows, UK Subs playing in Ljubljana and a lazy february Saturday. I can't keep my eyes open so I miss the show of Carry All... We pack the stuff and we're heading home. My bed, my wife and the things I hold dear...
