Hurricane Hanna is causing our river to rage (again!) and all are quite worried that the worst is yet to come!! Tropical Storm Ike is also forming just east of the island...WHEN WILL IT END? A temporary wall has been constructed, but it will not hold back another rock slide like that last one we experienced... we simply cannot take another flood right now.

PLEASE continue to pray for this Project, for the children, the staff and the entire island of Haiti!! Your prayers are SO important to this mission!!

On a lighter note: Thanks to your generosity, we have raised just over $5000 and clean-up has begun! It is going to be a LONG and arduous process, so please continue to keep the Project in your thoughts and prayers and continue to spread the word about this need!

Be sure to check out the new pictures posted in the PHOTOS section.

Dear friends...

We are in need of MUCH prayer and financial support right now. Hurricane Gustav has turned our Children's Village into a rock quarry! With our property completely buried in approximately 4-5 FEET of mountain rock, we are doing the best we can to begin the clean-up process. Our supplies (food, clothes, diapers, formula, etc) have all been destroyed and both houses where the kids lived were flooded with four feet of water and are currently unlivable. All 36 kids are living in the main house with the nannies. Above is a picture of our newly constructed [and now destroyed] depot, garage, supply house and apartment. Note the red in the middle... it is actually the roof of a very large truck that is now buried in the tons of rock that has poured down from the mountainside onto our property. All of this just begins to give you an idea of the massive job ahead of us... more to come.

To read more about how you can get involved, please visit our website at www.handsandfeetproject.org or simply follow THIS LINK to donate online. EVERY DOLLAR MAKES A DIFFERENCE! We need your help NOW... Haiti needs our help.

Please pray for Haiti. Hurricane Gustav pounded the southern coast of Haiti Monday and Tuesday, and heavy rains continue today. Thank God all of our children and staff are safe. However we have had major damage to our property, even worse than when Noel hit last November. Two of our children's houses on the lower floor have 3-4 feet of water in them. Many of our perimeter walls have been destroyed. Larry, one of our new US staff, cannot get his truck out because it is covered in boulders. We are so thankful that Larry and Michelle are there caring for our kids. Please pray for them as they try to figure out how to begin the overwhelming cleanup process. Please also pray for our neighbors as most of them have lost quite a bit. One of our neighbors' tin roof flew off forcing the family to stay with a neighbor.

We know God is in control but we definitely need your prayers and support during this crazy time. The internet is down in Haiti right now, so we will send more updates to as soon as we have them.

In honor of Will & Mark's 40th Birthdays, we are launching the "$40 for 40 years" CHALLENGE!

Over the 50 days between their birthdays (02.25.08 - 04.14.08), we are asking you to save $40 to donate in their honor.

$40 in the U.S. can get you a week of Starbucks... in Haiti, it is two months' wages (for those that are lucky enough to find work).

$40 can be dinner for two in the U.S... or it can feed a family for four months in Haiti!

Please prayerfully consider skipping your morning coffee even once a week for the next month, or cooking Sunday dinner at home rather than dining out, and donate your extra $40 to the Hands & Feet Project in honor of two who have given so much to make it happen! [Note: You may donate any amount you wish, but we are issuing you a challenge to find that $1/year to honor these men by contributing to that which is most important to them.]

Their touring days may be behind them, but you can still book Mark & Will from AudioA* to come to your church, conference, school, camp... pretty much ANY where! Check out AAtalks... and be sure to let your pastor // youth pastor know about us!

After two Grammys, multiple Dove awards, and 18 number one singles, Mark Stuart and Will McGinniss of Audio Adrenaline begin again, ignited with a passion to tell their story. At first glance, their career sounds story-book, but in reality it was full of as many hardships as successes and they want to share their experiences with audiences who need to be challenged, encouraged, and motivated to live the life that God has in store for them. The guys now turn their attention away from the rock show and focus on sharing their passion for Christ as Speakers. Audio Adrenaline has always been synonymous with excitement, passion, and faith. From albums to videos, from rock shows to mission trips, these guys have forged a path of purpose and conviction. Now as speakers, Stuart and McGinniss set out to inspire the next generation of "normals", to let go of their fear, and grab hold of their destiny.

*AAtalks includes Audio Adrenaline front man Mark Stuart, bassist Will McGinniss and rhythm guitar and vocalist Brian Whitman for a night of encouragement, testimonies, Audio A classics and worship.
