theSTART is playing a show in celebration of our B-sides and rarities!

12/12 seems like a very auspicious date we hope that proves true...
We have been working hard to design a set you have never seen/heard before or will again. this is going to be a one time only event... and our last show for the year.
We will be selling one of a kind B-side collection CDs with hand drawn art by the band.

We feel really blessed that we were allowed to choose our bill from top to bottom and have picked some bands we love and hope you do too...
We have invited our friends and favorites Mellowdrone to co headline with us, in direct support of them is Shiloeand kicking it all off is CAT PARTY. It should be an amazing night from the start to theSTART!

Hi friends, it's been a little quiet around here as of late. is anyone still on myspace? We barely are. Just letting anyone interested know we are working on some new music. Yep, new stuff, also, there will be some more shows coming up in a bit including a Troubadour date for our L.A lovers in the near future with an amazing line up....if it all works out. Well well well, our "REJECT THE DOOM 2009" tour with the Action Design and Roxy Epoxy and the Rebound came to a close for us last Saturday in El Paso TX at Bombardiers... here's a little recap of the first few days:

Our beloved friend COLIN (and sometimes drummer!) decided to accompany us on our journey for the first few days so Chelsea Jamie Colin ENO and myself climb into the RV at around midnight to set off on our journey, make a quick stop to pick up our merch at Miss Lizzie Dulien's. It was 2am when we finally arrived and God bless her she stayed up for the hand off after waiting all day to go and collect it for us. thanks a billion LIZZIE you saved the tour! off to the FLYING J for some nap and RV maintenance. After a long day drive and a requisite stop at Split Pea Andersen's our first show was in San Francisco at one of our favorite venues there the Bottom of the Hill. We were really excited because this tour was an all friends affair and we were finally getting to tour with Roxy and Emily both of whose former bands somehow we could never manage to organize a proper tour with... did I say PROPER?

San Francisco was lovely. We saw our tour mates RE&tR play their second show ever (awesome of course!) and TAD deliver a fiery and fierce set that would prove to be their Modus Operandi for the tour. We debuted 4 Normandie songs much to Normandie's delight. At the end of the night we convened for merrymaking in the Rebound's tour vehicle they lovingly refer to as "BIG GAY". The drive to San Jose was short so we spent the night in front of the club. sleep. delicious sleep. oh so infrequent on tour... and off to SJ.

The Blank Club- we had played there before with the Birthday Massacre and had a great time so we were excited for the show. Just laughing and watching the girls put on their faces for the show,hanging in the dressing room watching Jairus' videos of the tour so far... and then Cereal Incident- apparently Chelsea stepped out of the RV onto the sidewalk in front of the venue with a cup. The security guard told her she could not have a cup on the street (???) she informed him it was filled with milk and cereal she was finishing for dinner (tour is so glamorous) and he said "I don't care you can't have a cup on the street" she said" but it's cereal and there's only a bite left" He "don't disrespect me, I said you can't have a cup" She "but I am going to find a trash can and throw it away so there's not milk in our trash" he "DON"T DISRESPECT ME GET BACK IN THE RV" she "!@#$%^&*(" and so on... she was a very angry drummer that night I can tell you.

The iPEE... well fortunately we have a functioning toilet in our vehicle. Roxy & the Rebound do not. after many sloppy tales of urinating in various receptacles and because we are thoughtful we decided to get them a gift we found at a truck stop.

there was something in the instructions for use for women that said the word "insert" that I found equally disturbing and entertaining...
