I could feel it…

Oh hell, I could feel it running down my face. My whole body was shaking, probably from the adrenaline still coursing my veins, but that is really nothing compare to feeling warm, sticky blood sliding down the side of my face. I didn't know how to react truthfully, whether to barf up or just scream. I was too busy being paralyzed.

I tried to refocus my eyes on the scene of what had just happen but my brain wasn't working, wasn't comprehending anything right about now. I felt something heavy still in my grip and turn to see a silver bat..or at least it would have been silver if it wasn't cover in blood.

My eyes kept train to the object, growing wider and wider each time, or at least it felt that way. I wasn't too sure, I was still in some kinda trance or something; nothing was clicking. I just kept staring at it, watching the blood run down.

Then it clicked.

I gasp and drop the bat quickly, hearing it hit the ground with a loud 'clang' and looked around, almost starting to hyperventilate by the way I was breathing really fast. I couldn't help it. Flashes of scatter memories of what I had just done came running back at me and I screamed loudly and clutch my head, trying to make it go away but I pull my hand back to see sticky red on it and my eyes widen more.

I took a step back and almost slip and look down to see blood had pool around my shoes. I covered my mouth and turn around to throw up only to stop as I saw mangle body there. I stood there frozen like a deep caught in the headlights. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the corpse, its eyes staring back at me lifeless as its arms and legs were twisted in unnatural angle, bones protruding underneath its skin, blood pool beneath its head. I started to hyperventilate, seeing the marks a bat would leave when being hit with. I shakily took a step back then another before hitting something else that was soft and slowly turn to see it was another mangle body. My lower lip tremble as I notice the blood stain blonde hair: It was Abigail.

I look back to the other body to get a closer look while trying to ignore the smell of iron and copper that was reaching my nose from the blood. I move closer and lean down to get a better look before snapping away and cover my mouth. Koji. I killed Koji….

I killed Koji and Abby!

My stomach churn and I clutch it before looking down to see my clothes were splattered in blood. To see my hands were painted in red and I still felt the warm blood running down the side of my face. I was covered in blood of my best friends. I had brutally killed my best friends!

I….I…

My mind was shutting down, the whole world seem to spin out of hand as I stumble back, slipping and sliding on the wet blood on the floor. I hit something and fell onto my ass before with a loud grunt, eyes closing as I grimace. I shook my head before reopening my eyes and look to see what I had hit only to see bright vivid violet eyes staring back at me with red hair covering half of its smashed in face.

My eyes…they were staring back at me..

..That was…me!

I woke up screaming.
