New movie for 2009- Public Enemies, starring Jonny Depp (<3<3<3) as John Dillinger and Christian Bale as federal agent Melvin Purvis. HOLY CRAP! guns, gangsters, money, jon and chris...can this movie possibly get hotter?
for those of you that dont know, John Dillinger is my favorite gangster (tied with Lucky Luciano who lived long enough to retire) and Jonny Depp is my favorite thing, period. I hope this movie clears up the falsehood perpetuated by John Cusak's character in High Fidelity.... John Dillinger was not, in fact, ratted out by his girlfriend whilst going on a date to the movies. Thats a chauvenist remark and indicative of someone who just got dumped. It was actually a Romanian immigrant who was a Madame that ratted him out, hoping to get the reward $ and prevent herself from being deported. Not only did she not get the reward, but her butt was sent back for being such a skank (and a stool pigeon).
suffice to say- i am so excited i feel like im going to pop. how am i possible going to wait until july 1?
