Hello. How are you? It's been quite a while. I must be more wrock-active but I'm ever so busy nowadays. Promise I'm not "retiring" ever. Anyways, I am really honestly utterly completely swamped with work at the moment. I'm doing my Studio Project 4 right now and immediately after I have my IAP ( Industry Attachment Potato or something ) and after THAT I have my Final Year Project. Despite being a Time Lord I am running out of time all the...time. *listening to Oliver Boyd and The Rememberalls* Mmmm...so very very good music. What was I saying again? Uhm...right no time, but still trying to be active..I have a song in my pocket somewhere that just needs rerecording over and over again till I can't be bothered to hear all my mistakes and finally put out there. (whereever there is ) It's called Blue Bird so you figure out what it's about. Hopefully I get to work on it when I find some time. I have loads of projects, both work and personal. Unforunately, I tend to work on the ones that scream loudest. Since school hire teachers to shout a lot, I tend to work very little on my personal projects. But they still get done! They may take me centuries but still! Anyways wrock will still be a constant aspect in my life so I'm not going anywhere! I'll always be back. Catch you later. Rif Also you can now find me on www.twitter.com/doctorrifwww.doctorrif.blogspot.comwww.fanfiction.net/~doctorproject But honestly, how are all of you?

*clap clap clap clap* The Eleventh I must say that he is not nearly as cute as me but still...and my hair is much messier when nobody is around. They never get the hair right. I was Brian May once and they cast Tom Baker as me. Buggers. I was also Ian Hislop once and they cast a total baldie as me. But still...I hope he pulls me off well. Wait. That didn't sound right. I still think they should get all the brand new Doctors together while they're still alive and haven't eaten too much. Don't worry I've been talking to Mr Moffat over the phone a lot since he's adapting my adventures into a TV show and apparently in the next series I get to have a sonic lightsaber. ...He might have been joking. I'm not sure.

Happy New Year everyone.
Right now I'm going through literally everyone's wrock myspaces.
Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons "Going to Hogwarts". Love that.Basically I've been hanging around her page for past 15 minutes going click click click. Yeah pretty much going through everyone's pages listening to music while I attempt to do some school work.
I'm not going to do a 2008 review here. I did with Tamara on the second episode of our podcast. http://tamarif.mypodcast.com/ Fixed the RSS feed and it should be searchable on iTunes in a bit. Right enough plugging.
Overall 2008's been a whole lot of fun. It seems like everyone had a good year. Hopefully 2009 will be just as great. Although I'm sure we won't be seeing another pregnant man, a second Robert Mugabe landslide victory, Putin and the Revenge of The Soviets or John Sergeant dancing. Hopefully.
A lot of people also can't wait for 2009. Half Blood Prince coming out. HP fans will obviously do what they do best and go mental, love it then hate it then go mental again and yeah...the usual really.
The Large Hadron Collider will restart somewhere in the summer with one big difference this time. The world won't bloody care now. You big disappointment.
Eurovision Song Contest in May without Terry Wogan who will be replaced by Graham Norton. I don't know why I'm mentioning this. I don't really care about Eurovision.
But apparently, the big thing in 2009 is this thing where Barack Obama become President. He's already won it but there's this big sort of party or something. Lots of booze and he'll get to wear a hat or something. They've given it a fancy name. "Inauguration"
I suppose it's like during the Olympics and stuff where you've won gold and you're going yaaay, but you can't actually get the medal yet cos you have to wait like an hour for the prize giving presentation. Except for Obama, he has to wait longer.
Doesn't make any sense to me. He should just chase Bush out. Like anyone's going to stop him.
Anyways I better stop talking about Obama in case I accidentally say something bad about him. Nooo noo. You can't say anything bad about Obama or else people won't be your friend anymore. He's like a Messiah for some reason.
That reminds me...when Tony Blair first became Prime Minister you couldn't say anything bad about him either. "Oh no, you can't say that, Tony's marvelous" Now though...
Anyways good luck to Obama I suppose. Because he's now really just inherited a shit situation really. I mean everything is just really pushing down on America at the moment so the US is really just like a shit sandwich. It was the Americans choice whether to go white bread or brown bread. They've chosen brown bread.
Yeah that joke didn't go as well as I had hoped...
Right so on that weird note I'd just like to say Happy New Year again. HAPPY NEW YEAR. I put out a new song recently..have a listen if you're bored. Uhm, oh yeah, new podcast episode, have a listen to that if you're seriously bored.
I don't think I'm a very good host on it but yeah...I don't talk a lot normally and it's really weird that I have stage fright sorta when we're recording. The old trick of pretending your audience in their underwear doesn't work since I can't see my audience. Unless you want to help me, please do send me pictures of yourself in your undergarments at

Hello. Good evening. Good morning. Good afternoon.
It's been quite a short while since my last beleaguered, hyperactive, wild, manic, mad and slightly morose blog that made less sense than I had hoped. Another thing I'm hoping for is that it hasn't turned any of you away from reading future blogs of mine and if it has, f%* off. Well, they won't be reading this so I don't really have to bother. Anyways, I had something to say.
Oh right. I've remembered now and am typing this as quickly as possible in case I am unable to properly board this train of thought and should I fall out hopefully I can get the message out to some extent.
So I have some announcements :
I have a new song out. It's called "The One With The Cheesy Swamp of Love Song Bit".
It's quite a strange song for me. This is because I quite like it. I know, I've always been rather disparaging about my inert lack of singing ability and also about most of my songs. And that sets quite a bad tone and it will make people simply agree with my statement much more easily. However, I quite like this one and I do hope those who have listened to it enjoy it.
Well I quite suppose it's that bit in the blog where I tell you a bit more about the song. This song is for Tamara. Simple as that. (Tamara and Rif shippers squee here? ) Yes, well a year ago, Tamara from Obliviate! wrote a song about me for reasons still a bit unfathomable really. And in response to this lovely gesture I decided I'd write one back about her. That was very wittingly called "The Tamara Song".
A year on and a few things have changed and few things haven't. The two of us have become more than just friends and we've been having loads of fun. Unfortunately, that didn't leave much time for us to make any wizard rock songs. So we decided we'd write a new song for each other for Christmas! That way we'd be making music and we didn't have to spend too much money on presents! I know, I'm an evil bastard child of Scrooge.
But anyways that is pretty much the gist of it. Like I said, I do hope everyone enjoys it.
Lyrics :
I caught my eye on you earlier; it's so very unusual the way that you make me feel right now When you're right here I know I can breathe And you know honey, that is all plenty enough for me
I make so many mistakes and don't win but I learn and I try and I try and I try again How strong a strength do I need to have so that protecting all that there is can be a part of the greater plan?
Chorus*
It's you that I need. I want to live on. I believe this love is faithful. I'll tightly hold on and never let go this wound that just won't heal all alone.
You and I, love. We'll hold hands and just walk on. There's no time now. We can't stay we must move on. Side by side, now. We know we cannot go back. This eternal love hurts like pain inside my chest, Darling.
I think about you daily It's so very crazy The way that you make me feel right now
Because Tamara my dear You've shown me something I've not seen Something infinitely interesting
For example I know if I sacrificed everything that I'd still believe one thing You can't hold a pen right but I don't mind as long as you tell me you'll be mine one day
Even though I'm weak now I can become strong. My destiny was here all along. We'll join our hands and with the warmth, we'll slowly melt together now, love. Through the pain now, we'll survive if we hold hands. Even now, when it seems that there's more we must withstand.
As long as I am here with you we'll stand against the world's waves And when they crash we won't be shaken from the life we've made.
It's you that I need. I want to live on. I believe this love is faithful. I'll tightly hold on and never let go this wound that just won't heal all alone.
It's you that I need. I want to live on. I believe this love is faithful. When I'm with you, we'll be forever one and we'll not be disconnected
You and I, love. We'll look beyond the starry skies. Just believing there's no such thing as goodbye. Side by side, now. I just don't care what people say. I'll protect you; till forever and a day.
Now moving on to the next announcement which is about a new podcast! Hah. Well Tamara and I talk to each other a lot. ( Tamarif shippers go mental here ) We chat and video call as much as we can and like I said we end up having lots of fun. Recently, Tamara has been doing some work or school stuff at a local radio station in her place and it sounded like quite a lot of fun.
So eventually I sort of decided that a podcast will be quite fun to do. It'll be a new fun activity for us. And besides, we talk to each other all the time and we have a lot of fun with that. So I thought, why not simply or flimsily structure that, record and broadcast it to the world so we could share that fun.
I've always wanted to be the funny person on the radio or tv panel show. But I've always never tried to pursue that rather peculiar idea. I've always thought that it'd be one of those ambitions where I'm good only in my head. I always tried to be funny. Once in a brief while I do think I am properly funny. So what I'm trying to say is that hopefully with this podcast I can prove to myself and the world how badly wrong I am and for everyone's sake, improve.
We've actually begun recording. There are still bits and segments we have to record but hopefully it'll be out soon. I will announce it again on this blog when the first episode is out if you're wondering. We'll have the appropriate links and buttons for you to push or sew into your clothes if we have them.
I will have to apologise for my painful bumblings about on the podcast. I was editing my blasted recordings and I realized I tend to do that quite a lot. I do beg your pardon because I am quite excruciatingly shy at times. Also I do become awkward when I do new things. It does take some time for me to get into the groove of anything but hopefully all of that dizzying fumblings will disappear as Tamara and I continue podcasting.
Yes basically please do be patient with us on our new adventure with podcasting.
Essentially the podcast will be hosted by the two of us – though I cannot promise that there won't be any guests on the show. Also, we cannot make any promises to the frequency and regularity of episodes. I am constantly seemingly busy with my studies and so is Tamara. And when we do get time off together, it's very limited because I'm in Singapore and Tamara lives in America. Lol so either one of us will not be fully awake on our podcast at any given time. There's a lot of things stacked against us but we persist nonetheless. Distance and time avails not.
Hmm…what else was I going to say. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention the nature of our podcast. Well we only decided to do this podcast less than a week ago so a few things may change and evolve as we go along but basically, it'll be us talking about pretty much anything.
We'll have a segment about current affairs and news which is called…"The Newsy Bit" I know. Witty huh? We'll have a segment on music called "The Musicy Bit" And coming from waaaay left field is a segment about the weather. It'll be called "Weather". Didn't expect that did you? And I dunno, we might even have a Football Bit or something. Maybe even a random bit where we just bitch about anything we want. That'll be fun. I'm thinking it should be called "The Random Rant Part Of The Show Bit"
I like the word bit. Bit bit bit. It's a very firm compact word that's been cruelly overlooked by the general English speaking community. What about mute people? Oh crap. Being politically correct is such a hassle
Oh btw the podcast is called "The Super Awesome Tamarifcast of Love And Doom". Listen to the first episode (when it eventually comes out around…the 27th to see how we got to that title. )
And btw, I have a separate personal .."http://doctorrif.blogspot.com">blog that I recently set up. I do sillier stuff on that one so I don't annoy too many of my subscribed mypsace blog readers. ( who I'd like to thank btw for being steadfast in the lunacy in following this blog )
So from me, Rif, Merry Christmas. Happy Kwanzaa. Happy Hanukkah. And if you're an atheist, have a good day.

Ok so halfway through typing this I went sort of mental...if you want to read go on, but...well I did warn you. ______________________________________________ Ok help.
Who do you think is the best frontmen of music ever?
Because I was chatting with Tamara of Obliviate! the other day and I can't remember exactly what was being said but we were playing around and mixing members of bands together. I think I said that The Who and Led Zeppelin should have had a bastard love child to make a super awesomeness band of awesome with mozzarella. Then we sorta got conflicted over who should front the band. I threw in Freddie Mercury and Queen but then I sorta didn't want to give up Robert Plant and then Tamara threw in Bruce Springsteen and also added The Sex Pistols and we ended up even more confused. I kept thinking about this even more whenever I got bored. (which is most of the time) And eventually I added The Beatles cos they're just the biblical. Then I got confused whether I could add Jimi Hendrix because he is the greatest. And then it got confusing cos I then added loads of other people likw Neil Peart, Jim Morrison, Eddie Vedder, Axl Rose, James Hetfield, Genesis, Iggy Popsicle, Fleetwood MacDonalds, Radiohead Gaga, Snow Patrol, Motley Crue, Incubus, Eric Clap clap clap, Ian Hunter, Frank Zap Zap Zappaa, Pearl Floyd Pink Jam, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Harry And The Potters, Bob Dylan, Little Richard Hammond, Bob Marley, David Bowie and Johnny Dollar Cash Face of FIERCE!. IN THE END, I HAD ABOUT 4 LEAD SINGERS! 8 DRUMMERS, 12 ON BASS, 37 GUITARS, ( AND ONE TOP GEAR HOST )... and THEN!!! AND THEN! AND THEN!! I DECIDED I WOULD TAKE THE DNA OF ALL THESE PEOPLE AND MAKE GIANT EVIL 58 LIMBED MUSIC CREATURE OF DOOM AND DESTRUCTION AND USING ALIEN TECHNOLOGY FROM THE PLANET NEERSCODITION OF THE TRAFALGARLUCION GALAZY AND GIVE BIRTH TO THE GREAT MUSICAL SAUSAGE EVER SEEN! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
......right. Sorry. I got a bit...weird there.
And well anyways, I worship at the altar of the god that is Freddie Mercury. Anyone else think there's someone better than Freddie?
p/s Anyone seen the new Top Gear episode? Sir Tom Jones was on it. I was seen holding a yellow Umbrella ella ella eh eh...eh? ..eh? ...ehh? Why's everyone pointing their guns at me?

RIGHT! SORRY. PROPER ANNOUNCEMENT QUESTION THINGY!
When did my lyrics get onto lyricsmania.com??
I'm not mad or anything but...what happened there?
I've just looked up some other wrock bands. Creevey Crisis are there. Riddle TM are there. Chaos of The Phoenix there. Tom Riddle and Friends there. Obliviate! there. Oliver Boyd there. Harry and The Potters.
F!% it. No Tonks And The Aurors. Blasphemy. No Chinese Chomping Cabbages either.
Lol did I miss something while I was away? Were we (the wrock community) shifting lyrics databases and putting it into random lyrics sites or something? Lol well I just found this rather strange and funny.
Also they have ridiculous ads and stuff like "Think You Know The Department of Rock? Take the quiz here now!" and "Send The Department of Rock ringtones to your phone now!" and even "Learn The Department of Rock chords".
I don't even know most of my own chords. Maybe I should click it? Doesn't matter, my fingers get tired just trying the C chord...although that's usually because at school I have to do hundreds of drawings every bloody day.
Anyways, I just thought people might want to know their lyrics might be up on that site. Cos it was a bloody surprise to me.

So okay, apparently there's a muggle band that's called "Department of Rock" who are basically do covers of "rock" music and stuff. Here's an example No, that is not me. I'm not burly, cacuasian, I don't have long hair and I'd definitely not play Bon Jovi songs in tight leather pants no matter how many people secretly want me to. Also, if you want some new obscure music why don't you try listening to this band The Cabs I think they sound quite bawesome despite the fact that nobody in internet land knows them. Youtube doesn't know them. Mininova doesn't know them. I don't really know why I'm supporting this band cos I haven't bought their album because I can't anyways but they sound great....in the previews...but still! Also I got really excited when I thought I found a cool band called Trapt when I listened to their song "Headstrong" then I realised all their other stuff were shit and so was Headstrong anyways. I hate being wrong. That's why I've sent for Juliet to kill them. Then me and Tom Riddle are going to do wicked experiments to their corpses. Mwahahaha. Anyways... Lol right that proves the proper announcement bit is over, go back to doing whatever you were doing people. p/s New Keane album. I always thought they were never on the same plane as other bands but not anymore! Quite very very good this one.

what the @(@!%*!!@$&^*&^)&*$$! ? Read ThisThis is why I hate newspapers... (Also this is what happens when you take David Tennant too seriously - no-one seems to realise that most of the time he's taking the piss - often in response to bloody stupid questions) Asked if Miss Piper could take on the role, he said a female Doctor was a distinct possibility. 'Why not?' he said. 'It's one of those parts any actor could bring something valid to, because it can be anything and it's a blank canvas every time. 'The difference is a virtue with each Doctor. It's not like you're casting Tarzan where you've got to have somebody who looks good in a loincloth.' I happen to think Billie Piper would look quite good in a loincloth, actually *cough* >.>
