We live up the street from Clarkdale Elementary School and off Clay Road.  My daughter and I walked down to the school but you cant get to it and to Noses creek on Clay Road.

I won a couple of VIP tickets by signing up for the raffle at Mike Bell Chevrolet in Carrollton Georgia.  My husband and I went to the Pep Boys Auto 500 Nextel cup.  It was a blast and we had so much fun with the whole package, receiving a Hot lap, pit tour and getting autographed photos of Kevin Harvick, Ward Burton and J.J. Yeley.  The race is so exciting pumping you up I actually thought Dale Jr would win this one for sure except for hearing about loose lugnuts, I cant imagine a pit crew being so negligent and just wonder how that happened. I did happen to get a photo of Jimmie Johnson but not his autograph, pish.  When I have time to load my photos I will let you know and give a little bit more details on our very exciting day.

I have a love/hate relationship with my treadmill.  I love the thought of losing weight and getting on it but after 5 minutes I'm like I want to be doing something else like crafting or doing something artsy.  Usually I turn on some music but not today I forgot to.  After walking 25 minutes I'm thinking I want off this thing right now!  so I made up a little tune I sing low key like:

I can do it, I can do it,
Yes I can, yeeeeeees I can.
I can do it, I can do it,
yes I caaaaaaan.
Lose the fat, lose the butt, lose the gut.
keep on going, keep on going,
lose the fat, lose the butt, lose the gut.
Keep on going, keep on going,
dont' stop now!
I can do it, I can do it,
yes I caaaaaan!

repeat.

I kinda like it and maybe it will help you too to sing it when your legs are aching and your out of breath.

I'm gonna put this in my blog........

I think the face came out pretty much agreeable to me.

I have 3 dolls I am working on right now in various sizes.   Two of the dolls are flesh color and one is painted pitch black.......I have always admired R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf series of his Drows and the Spider Queen and her minions.  I'm attempting one of the Drow ladies but I absolutely have to put wings on her.

The faces are hand drawn and 2 already colored in...I imagine red eyes and blood red lips on the 3rd doll will suffice.

So far all I can think of is leather and silver chains, usually I make clothing and jewelry as being removable, with jsut a couple years now I am getting use to the idea of raw edges and permanent accessaries on my dolls.  It makes creating so much easier.  I know a couple of people who glue clothing onto their figures, I will probably do this when using leather on my doll.
