Dear Friends of Big Dirt,

You are invited to join us at the Black Earth Ball on Friday July 31st.
We'll be playing at 3040 17th Ave. W in Seattle's Interbay neighborhood.
The event starts at 7:30 and we'll be playing at around 8.

The event is a fundraiser for the Seattle Biochar Working Group so bring your curiosity, enthusiasm and dancing shoes (donation also suggested).

Dear friends of Big Dirt,

We're heading back to the Mars Bar this Saturday (March 7) to play a set featuring songs from our upcoming CD.
We'll be on for an hour set, starting some time between 10 and 11pm.
James Apollo opens the show, followed by Tim Blonde & Tennis Pro are up second, then Big Dirt will "headline"

The Mars bar is at 609 Eastlake Ave E, about 2 blocks N of REI...

We're also playing an ALL AGES set at Mr. Spot's Chai House in Ballard on Sunday (8-10pm).

These are our only Seattle shows until May, so come out and have some fun...

This Thursday (Nov. 20) Big Dirt is the special musical guest as Comedian David Silverman returns with musical sidekick Rob Witmer to Town Hall's popular interview/quiz show "You're On The List".  
Watch Dave get grilled and audience members join in the hilarity, competing for "valuable prizes".  Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:30.

Hi friends,

Whether you're as happy as we are and want to celebrate, or just need to drown some Republican sorrows, come on out and have it at the Mars Bar this Friday night.
We're playing from 9 - 10:30 pm or so, and will start right at 9 as Erika's gotta catch a flight East right after the first set!

The Mars Bar is a great place to catch live music; its right next to Cafe Venus on Eastlake at 609 Eastlake Ave E (about a block or two north of REI's downtown store right off I-5).

Hi friends of Big Dirt,

Well, its one week to the election and by next Friday you'll either want to celebrate or drown your sorrows.
And whichever way things go, Big Dirt can help...

We're playing at the Mars Bar on the Friday after the election.  We'll be playing 2 sets starting at 9pm (yes that's when we'll really start).
Countrycide will be playing after us for those up for a 3rd set...

This is our last gig before heading into the studio to begin work on our first CD together.
The Mars Bar is a great venue (intimate, good sound people, great food...) located at 609 Eastlake, about 2 blocks N of the big REI store by the freeway downtown.  In case you need it, their phone is (206) 624-4516.

Come on out and help us do whatever is appropriate for a post-election thing...

Hi friends of Big Dirt,

Yes, last week was a crazy week.  Who would have thought that getting a Macarthur would get Big Dirt onto the front page of both local newspapers....
We still can't believe it, but we're going to celebrate anyway!!!!

We're playing a Happy Hour show (6-8pm) at the High Dive next Friday, October 10th.
Come on out and help us celebrate!  Its an early show so come on by for cocktails after work; you know you deserve it.

The High Dive is at 513 36th in Fremont (west of the Triangle Tavern); their phone is 632-0212 (http://www.highdiveseattle.com/); the Bluesuasions are also on the bill...
I think there is a modest cover.

And if you're up tomorrow (TH) morning, I'll be on KMTT (103.7 The Mountain) at 8:15 for a brief interview...

Hi friends of Big Dirt,

Well this is a new one.  The Fortune Sports Bar where we were booked to
 
play a free show this upcoming Saturday night has cancelled all 
upcoming music -- as of yesterday!
So please don't go there this Saturday (or ever actually).

In much better news, our FREE SHOW at Conor Byrne is set for next 
THURSDAY May 29th, come on out, celebrate spring, and see some free 
live music...
