Artist: James High
Title: Balance Point
Label: Synthetic Arts Recordings
Genre: House / Progressive House
Cat No: SA010
Release date: 06.03.2009

Reached No 2. on mypromopool.com chart

Review by Chris Sterio (Source Of Gravity)...4/5

Synthetic Arts Recordings is the label of rising Croatian artist Art
Patrice. This is the 10th release on the imprint, and we are treated to
the debut release from San Diego based James High. 3 mixes of "Balance
Point" are on show, including mixes from Dee Keepers (Hernan Cerbello)
and Art Patrice himself.

To open the release, we have the Balance Point original mix, a
lush atmospheric piece of music with a rumbling bassline and energetic
arpeggios. For a debut original this is an outstanding effort. The
other mixes in the package will be hard pressed to beat this!

The Dee Keepers mix is a little more subdued than original. A
solid bassline and percussion allow the mix to progress. Something
perhaps for earlier on in a set.

Rounding the package off is the Art Patrice mix. This remix takes
elements of the original, and adds extra value with a lovely bassline.
Patrice definitely puts his own slant on the original, and the result
is a cool progressive take.

For a debut release, James High has hit a high level straight off
the bat. Synthetic Arts Recordings and James High could be names to
watch out for in the future.

Feedbacks:
Darin Epsilon:Really nice
groovy Prog! Hard to pick a favorite version. Everybody did a really
nice job on this one. Will consider this for my February chart.

Miss Nine: Great release
Ben Coda: Dee Keepers remix is really good!
Sasha Le Monnier: original is a nice piece of prog house, both mixes compliment this very nicely!
Andy Newland:Cool atmospheric but a killer groove for early sets
Matt Rowan: The Dee Keepers mix is quality! Really tough tune.
Medway: The Patrice mix is really crisp and funky, great take on the prog sound and excellent use of the vocal.
FOG will defo play the Art Patrice Remix. Its good to hear some morning rollers nowdays. Its a bit rare.
Nosmo vs Kris B: Diggin the
melody, bright and a little weird, both mixes are superb, Dee Keepers
mix reminds me of old Bedrock, Art Patrice delivers an incredibly funky
groove once again.
Slytek: Original Mix is the one
for me - love the break - stunning vibe, will definitely be playing
this out loads in the coming months.
Steve Marx: All mixes are great, will play for sure

Roell Sapphire: I love the groove from the Art Patrice mix, my fav of the release.

Artist: Al Gallelli
Title: Carmela Remixes
Label: Synthetic Arts Recordings
Genre: House / Tech House
Cat No: SA007
Release date: 28.10.2008

We are back with our release No 7, remixes of Al Gallelli's Carmela. The original had nice feedback,
and we believe you will like remixes too.
On this release we have return of Mark Ash & Rubb Surr on Synthetic Arts, with two techy remixes. Long intro on
remix make this track perfect for opening sets or promos, followed by dub mix which is darker and
hypnotic, more dancefloor friendly. On the other side, there are two remixes by Art Patrice. Day mix
is deep house view, with many funk elements, followed by Night mix, which is great house interpretation.
Totally deconstructed, with solid rhythm section and great breakdown.

Feedbacks:
balErik: Nice package, Mark Ash and Rubb surr mix is the one for me, thanks
Andy Newland: nice hypnotic vibe
Leigh Morgan: Like the night mix and the two mixes by Mark Ash, cool trippy grooves, nice
Miss Nine: like the mark ash & rubb surr mixes
Dumb Dan: art patrice night mix is killer stuff, I love how it suddenly takes off at 4 minutes! will play!
Darin Epsilon:This is probably some of the best I've heard from Art Patrice.  He really displays a lot of musicianship in both remixes.  Would have to say that my pick would be the Mark Ash & Rubb Surr Mix.  Excellent driving music that just grooves

Alen Sforzina: like mars mix and your night mix

Artist: Al Gallelli
Title: Che Bella Vita Remixes
Label: Synthetic Arts Recordings
Genre: House / Progressive House
Cat No: SA006
Release date: 09.16.2008

Our sixth release brings three remixes for your listening pleasure. Tv Maniacs AKA Roman Rai
doesn't need any introduction. Solstice Records head honcho already release bunch
of great tracks, so we expected top quality remix, and Roman didn't dissapoint us.
His remix bring us great house with funk elements, nice melody workout and cool
bassline. Summer vibe is all over Roman's remix. Forex AKA Jonathan Hart released
tracks for labels like Alternative Route and Reversible in the past, and we are happy to
have him on board. His remix is great nu disco view of tune with great melody that drives
track forward, simply stellar. Synthetic Arts owner Art Patrice take remix in peak time
direction, making it more progressive. Driving bassline, spacey backgrounds and solid
breakdown is what make this remix does wonders on dancefloor.
