 Well my friends I have managed to steal a few moments of peace to update you all. I wanted to thank those of you that have sent me messages to relay to my friend Michael Scott wishing him luck in the forthcoming Irish Book Awards! I'm still rather excited about that myself...I never imagined that the news of my adventures that I send to Michael would become such popular books! If you haven't had the chance to vote yet, please spare a moment to do that here..Irish Book Awards you'll find the Magician in the Dublin Airport Authority Irish Children's Book of the Year - Snr category.
Voting closes on May 1st..so please hurry..it would be nice to reward Michael for all his hard work..translating my often hurried ramblings on whatever paper I have to hand into such wonderfully written books is an art indeed!

What other news do I have for you all? hmm..oh Josh tells me that there is a great forum for all my friends to get the latest news on our adventures from..and Michael likes it so much that he is often found on there answering questions! Here is the link to them... Flamel's Secret Forum they're all excited about the forthcoming Sorceress release too! Josh asks if you like the countdown to it's release that he's added to my page (far too technical for me to do!)

Josh also tells me that the Challenge  of the Elders game is great fun..apparently the current record for the first challenge is around 30 seconds..it takes me that long to work out what I have to do!(600+ years of living is hard on the eyes!)

Well that is all my news for the moment my friends, I tire so easily these days without my elixir, so I must go and rest.  Josh also needs this computer so that he can check for e-mails from his parents!

Ah my friends, it has been such a long time since I was last able to reach out to you, my profound apologies! Life has been full of unexpected and dangerous twists and turns, my wonderful bookshop was damaged terribly in a battle with Dr John Dee, and Alas! my beloved Perrry has been taken by Dr John Dee and is being held prisoner on Alcatraz! I fear for her safety, but I know she is strong despite our rapidly advancing aging and will fight with great passion for her freedom! I trust that we will be re-united soon.  I have the twins of the Codex with me..they grow stronger by the day now that they have been awakened and are learning their mastery of the elemental magics.  The Shadow has accompanied us and has displayed great courage and skill in our battles.
I have been able to keep in contact with my dear friend Michael Scott and keep him informed of our movements, and encounters with those that would seek to return the Dark Elders to power. I see that he has documented our tales in his books, I should love the time to sit and read them for myself one day! Michael got word to me that the second book of our travels, called The Magician has even been nominated for an award! I would ask you my dear friends to vote for his book (which is in the  The Dublin Airport Authority Irish Children's Book of the Year - Snr category) by clicking here: Irish Book Awards  .  Oh, how I would love to see the lights of Dublin and feel the warmth of the Irish hospitality once again!
