Current mood:Sketched
Up all night, again
Az for sleep, no comprende
I don't sleep 'cuz sleep iz the cousin of death
Least that's what nas say-
Sleep iz a state of mind
And to know iz to be on your way
I bought some bad drugs
Off these snotty little rave kids i met
And i shuffled off to buffalo
If i have love, then i hide it
Then the people that i hide it from
Have helped me to deny
That it's not enough to show you care
You gotta take on every double cross
And every double dare, i swear to you
Unchain your mind, become divine
Surrender, surrender my love
And get on down here and say it with me
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Sick and tired again
Fucked and wired again
It's all so beautiful
Sound like a stone temple sob story to me
If i'm on your mind again
You must be trippin' on some of that
Voodoo i been throwin' down
When you're high and lost in the clouds
Then you know it's time to get down, again

Yesterday, I took a long ride on my single-speed bike.. I rode along the craggy coast of Maine, from my parents place where I'm currently residing, past the rookery and the salted marshes, I rode past tall thin dogs, whom pulled on rusted chains, I watched a lighthouse become engulfed in a setting sun, it was then that I thought I should write my first entry into this public journal; Not being much of a blogger, I finally let this idea get the best of me and, I thought I'd post a brief synopsys of the current events facing "honey_sacrifice" and coleman (me) I drove across the country in my german car, from California to Maine, just about as distant as two states can be.. I gave up my studio in Santa Barbara, put my stuff in storage and just drove.. the road quelled some distant urge which had been scratching at my peripheries for some time.. nothing like engaging in the road trip to escape a routine... I like to disappear at times; yet, never forgetting that the inverse of disappearing is appearing in a new place.. this time it's my boyhood home of maine and the salt marshes and the ceaseless sea.. I can hear the waves actually as I type this.. they are about 10 meters below.. I think there is some storm coming, as the swelling seas were gaining weight, gaining some aggressive force, perhaps a sympathetic push for the hurricane currently in the south.. perhaps just a forlorn song to serenade my blog.. (I think i'd write more if it weren't for that horrible contraction anagram or whatever the word "blog" is, I really do hate it.. it just sounds evil..) In 2 weeks Geoff (bass player) and myself will head to Berlin to do final edits and mixes of the album to be released on NeoOija in October. I'll try yo keep some sort of semblance to order, possibly even here.. I love berlin, and I cant think of a better place to mixdown the forlorn sounds of honey-sacrifice. We have a place to crash and a chance to drink some excellent expresso.. maybe I'll call richie hawtin again, (my old label owner) and if he's not too busy being a rock-star, he'll have time to meet up for a drink.. (last time it was only promises) I'll post some vid's and a small interview with all of us, including Matin, the new owner of NeoOuija Records. 4 new tracks up in the music area of the myspace page and the full album is on a free download at www.honeysacrifice.com
Coleman.
