We need your vote!

Xerosun has been selected to be featured in alternativeaddiction.com's Next Big Thing Feature. The feature will start on 1st November 2009 and feature 8 bands and we need your vote!
Two weeks after the start date, only the top 4 vote getting bands will remain, and after three weeks only the top 2 vote getting bands. On December 1st 2009, the winning band will be featured on the website as the Indie Spotlight Band of the Month.
Fans can vote for us no more than once per day, and votes are filtered on a daily basis. So please, get voting and keep voting when you can!

Xerosun's long awaited debug album will be released on the 31st of October 2009, and to celebrate this, we are having our album launch gig in the Academy2 on Friday 13th of November 2009 in a shared headliner with Wicklow based Glyder.
Tickets for this event are available through MCD and Ticketmaster, or can be purchased online at ticketmaster.ie
Our debut album, Absence Of Light, will be available on the night too, in a limited edition digipak format with embossing. This is going to a collectors edition and is limited in it's printing, so get yours and have a slice of history!
We will also have a limited number of T-Shirts on Sale at the gig, featuring the artwork of album cover in sizes Medium, Large, X-Large and XXL. Please note: t-shirts are in very limited quantities!

Xerosun are very proud and happy to confirm that the one and only Seth Siro Anton (Vox/Bass-Septicflesh) has agreed to do the Artwork for their highly antisipated Debut Album "Absence of Light". As well as being a Musician, Seth studied at the University of fine arts, painting, photograghy and digital design. Seth has quite a pedigree when it comes to working with other bands.  He has worked with Paradise Lost on a number of occasions, Soilwork, Moonspell,
Caliban, Exodus, Old Man's Child, not least his own band Septicflesh and also Record Labels Roadrunner, EMI, BMG, Century Media and Nuclear Blast.
We expect to receive the work by Seth at the start of August. From here we will take a few minutes to admire the work and send it straight off to be published/printed for our Digipack album cover and T-Shirts. As you can imagine, we are all very excited about this next chapter in our musical lives and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has followed our progression so far and hope that you will continue to follow us way into the future- Xerosun.

Hi all!!!!

Sorry it's been some time since we posted on the site, but we have been off doing a few things. Namely getting our new line up in order, and getting the details of our debut album sorted.

I can say that the new album will be out this summer...sorry for the delay, but in order to get this as cool sounding and as cool looking as possible, it was needed.

Also, seeing as we have two new dudes in the fold we went into the studio and to give you guys a taster of the new line up we recorded Paradise Losts killer track "True Belief" which we have put up so you guys can listen.

So keep coming back for more news...
