Damn, Kid Cudi f-ed up on this one. McLune calls it straight-up and demolishes Common's fake a$$ "conscious" image.

Dear Concerned Food Eaters/Friends:

As I was driving home this morning, I was listening to Public Radio and became alarmed about bills that are being rushed through Congress by Monsanto to end organic and small family farms.  For those invested in growing your own food or supporting local farmers, please take the time now to act and spread the word.

H.R. 875 is a proposed bill of great concern:
*It affects anyone growing food even if they are not selling it but consuming it. (see 2 below under Related Articles)
*The wording is so broad based that a backyard gardener could be fined and more. (see 2 below under Related Articles)
*Legislation is so broad based that every aspect of growing or producing food can be made illegal. (see 2 below under Related Articles)

Dear Congressman Xavier Becerra:

I am gravely concerned about H.R. 875, the bill that Monsanto is rushing through Congress to criminalize all farming that is not industrialized.  As our present economic situation has come to prove, the United States of America needs to have healthy alternatives to those proposed by large Corporations such as Monsanto.  We do not need our economic situation to become worse by criminalizing small farmers and the small businesses or consumers who support them.  Please consider the PETITION found at http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/t/1128/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=26714.  Do not allow small or organic farms to be put out of business.  The future of our Country depends on them.  Thank you.

Sincerely,
emael

Written as a haiku a day for one year, there is a unique poem to inspire the holder of the book on a daily basis.  The fruit of a wonderful collaboration with Diego Pacheco, The Last American Icon has become my most perfect gift this Holiday Season.  If you would like a small preview of the work, please visit the above link. May all be well with you.  Enjoy.

Love,
emael
