Thanks for all the super positve energy!

Have a great day and talk to you soon,

Hello friends,

I just wanted to let everyone know that when I email, I am actually going to each one of your profiles, checkin out if you might like the music (musical taste) and then send an email.  This is not a mass email in anyway.  Yesterday, I forgot I had gone to someone's profile and emailed them twice.  I do not always type all the words over.  This would take forever and I am simply one human!

So you know, when you get an email from me, it has been thought out and I truely think you might like the music!

YOU ALL ROCK and have a great day,

Brian Lauri

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog and hope your day is beautiful,

Looking back to my musical past, one great momment was when I had the pleasure of try out with Dark Star Orchestra.  My love for the Grateful Dead has always been an intricate part of my musical path.  Being able to play such songs as Tons of Steel, The Weight, Wharf Rat, and Lost-Saint were simple incredible.  DSO is hands down one of the best Grateful Dead tribute bands ever!!

Playing With Phil Lesh!

Playing with Phil was simply unbelievable!  He is a master at his instrument.  During the whole time on stage with him, I was able to have a conversation musically.  There was complete connection in tonal movement, dynamics, tempo, and feel.  It was as if we had been playing together for years, and maybe we have:)

I have listened to thousands of hours of Phil's playing and to have been able to actually be involved in his next move, in real time, was one of the most meaningful momments of my life.  He was able to teach me so much by simply playing his bass.  If you have any questions about his lesson or just how it felt to play with him, let me know.  I have some new tips on jammin that just might make the difference between a group of musicians on stage playing a song and complete conversation through music.

PHIL ME UP!!!!!
