The info: Finally I managed to record 2 "live favorites". Probably the two most performed wixel songs, they never really got recorded due to their constant changing from show to show. "Sorry" is a four minute electronica-meets-guitars-postrock track, typical old school wixel. "Friends" is the mammoth 24 minute track that got built up the last 5 years. Originally it was a live version of the first "slaapwel" song, but soon turned into something much louder and much more "rock". It incorporated elements from an old wixel track called Karen Ikea, and got a lot different intros and outros during the past years. Now it is recorded in its longest possible version. This record will probably appeal more to you if you liked wixel live, but always thought the records were a tad too soft or slow. Or if you think wixel could use some electricity.

just a random blog post.
y got work. yay!
hopefully y'll save the lyttle money y make (part tyme salary though) so y can lyve yn brussels soon. then yt wyll be "au revoyr zaventem".

the new record ys fynished. y suppose yt wyll be released some day. when the artwork's ready. the new songs you fynd here wyll most lykely be on yt. all the stuff wyll be announced when yts ready.

other shyt's goyng down. the guernyca wyll release a debut ep "who are your songs for?" early december. yt features artwork by one of my favourite artists: gordon wyebe, y am really excyted about that! yt will be out on the myghty vlas vegas ymprynt. (of vandal x - hytch - ansatz der maschyne - amen ra - ... fame)

i am thrilled by the fact you are reading these words.
i am also very thrilled by the following fact:
monday evening, at 10 oclock or something there around someone will ask me questions and i will answer them as truthfully as possible. this will happen in presence of a microphone and a broadcasting unit. so. you'll be able to catch me in the air as i float through space in waves.

you should also go to the exhibition of astrid - the girl that made the artwork for the cd - it's on the 18th/19th of june and at the HISK.. that's the long lamestreet 338, antwerp (in berchoem! aka lange leemstraat)) - it will be definitly worth the trouble of everything. also, there will be an unreleased song by wixel playing by her artworks. its the best song ive ever written, so you might want to go. it's your only chance at hearing it!! (ill never play it live)

ok, all this exclusive things have to take a stop and an end.

i would like to end this blog, dear people of the universe, by saying:
do what you want to do, cause life's too short to do things you dont want to.
its cheap wisdom, but den aldi also has good cheap stuff. (check out the cartoonies!! the best cookies in the world)

anyways - i have to study again. i have an exam about Michel Foucault tomorrow. He was a Wise man indeed. he said

long time no post, but this time i've released an album, so i thought i should write a little promotext.

it's 8 instrumental indietronica tracks, kinda like hood, the remote viewer, album leaf, etc..
 You can listen to a few mp3s here. If you would like a copy, contact me!! it costs 12 which is a reasonable price i hope. b e c a u s e, It comes in an extremely nice constellation-like box + a free fold out poster with a beautiful drawing by astrid. hehe, the info looks kinda garbled. or so.
further i also wanted to announce that i am working on your tracks! (some people asked me to do tracks for them, like hiphoppers and stuff) - im working on it! im also working on remixes! yay! and on a new album (though that work is still mostly in my head - ill record some ideas in february)

im still looking for a good label that wants to release heart. :-)
