Alasin was contacted by Korpikuusen Kyynel and asked to fill them in on a gig at Rokkibaari. KkK was unfortunately forced to cancel their appearance and they accepted us as their substitute.

So, everyone, join us at Rokkibaari on Saturday 31st! We'll be playing there with Raven Claw and tickets will cost only 3 euros.

Finally our new demo titled "Seinän takana" is finished! Demo contains one brand new song which is also the title song and re-recorded versions of Deoksiribonukleiinihappo (first appearance on "DNA"-demo) and Vieraalle rannalle (first appearance on "Valkea verho"-demo).

We also uploaded some songs from our previous demo which were unavailable before. Those songs are Sähkömeri and Muistojen kuvat from "DNA"-demo.

We're having a gig at Klubi, Turku on February 19th with our old friends Blind Stare and Sortokausi. Tickets will cost 3 euros and showtime is around 9 PM (not confirmed yet).

In other news we have some good news about the progress of our demo. It is currently being mixed by Jani and judging by the few raw-mixes I've heard so far, it's coming up pretty good. Can't wait to put the song Seinän takana online, as it shows pretty different side of us.

Demo is still under construction, tomorrow Antti and Jani will lock themselves into our rehearsal place to lay down some bass tracks. Jani is also doing some singing, so hopefully the demo is finished before Christmas. Or atleast before new year. Or atleast before next summer...

But besides the recording process, nothing else has happened in the Camp Alasin in the meantime. Everybody's so busy with other stuff, that the rest of the year will be more or less band-free. But after the demo comes out it's time to put the gig-gear on and get some action on the Playing live-section.

Today began the recordings of yet-untitled new demo/promo-CDS. The promo will contain 3 songs; 1 completely new and 2 re-recorded songs from previous promos.

Like always, the recordings began by laying down the drum tracks. Ville booked Home Braend Music's studio for couple of days and is now working on the tracks with Henry Valanne, the man who has worked with Alasin on Pinnalle-compilation album (which includes Valtias from Alasin).

Jani will take care of the rest of the recordings, as well as mixing and mastering and all that other stuff related to making a record. We'll keep you informed about the progress and defenitely let you know when the promo is available.
