AFI CRASH LOVE EXCLUSIVE 2-DAY MYSPACE PREMIERE SEPT. 22-23

AFI's forthcoming CRASH LOVE will receive an exclusive first airing in its
entirety on My Space on September 22 and 23. The full album will also be up
for listening at the band's own
www.afireinside.net.. site a day later.

CRASH LOVE will be released September 29 on DGC/Interscope. First single
"Medicate," for which the band is currently shooting a video, is already
available on iTunes both as a single download and as part of an 18-song
CRASH LOVE deluxe edition featuring multiple bonus tracks both from the
CRASH LOVE sessions and the AFI vaults.

AFI recently added another leg of dates to its first series of live shows in
the U.S. since its July 7, 2007 Live Earth appearance. The tour commences
October 2 in Minneapolis with additional dates running up through a November
22 appearance at Stubbs Amphitheater in Austin, TX.

Produced by Joe McGrath and Jacknife Lee, CRASH LOVE is AFI's eighth album
and arguably the band's most focused, direct and ambitious effort to date.
CRASH LOVE follows up two consecutive platinum AFI albums, 2006's
DECEMBERUNDERGROUND which entered the U.S. chart at #1 and 2003's SING THE
SORROW. AFI's discography also includes the full lengths THE ART OF DROWNING
(2000), BLACK SAILS IN THE SUNSET (1999), SHUT YOUR MOUTH & OPEN YOUR EYES

On Friday (3/20/09) tickets will be available on Ticketmaster for the first annual American Waste Festival in Kansas City. The fest will take place June 6-7 and feature some of our favorite metal and hardcore bands over two days. You can save money by buying a two day pass for $35. Tickets are available for a specific day if you choose to only make one of the days. All tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Don't miss Combichrist, Black Light Burns, and Stolen Babies Feb 1 at Record Bar in Kansas City MO. Probably one of the most aggressive best live bands any of us have seen in a long time. One of our personal favorites in the Hunt office. Can't wait for the new CD. Also check out the movie Gene Generation that Combichrist is featured in the movie and on the soundtrack.

There have been a ton of posts on the internet saying this show is March 25th at Mission Theatre in Mission, KS. This has been moved (months ago) to Sokol Underground in Omaha, NE. Please pass the word on to avoid confusion!

Hello,
With the Static Bar shutting down, we are being forced to cancel many of the shows that we had scheduled there in the upcoming months (we had 15 scheduled). Many of the shows may be moved so keep checking back for updates. I will post any and all updates for the shows that were scheduled at the Static Bar....

If you see any flyers hanging up please pull them down. If you see any shows listed on people's sites, please inform them. Thanks!
