Current mood:  thankful

The time has come. We have decided to call it a day.

We would like to thank everyone who has been there for us over the past four years, everyone that has come to a show, all the great bands we have shared a stage with, James and Sam who helped out so much, parents who were always great and any one who bought a CD or listened to our music. Thank you.

It has been a fantastic ride!

We have one last show in us, which will be during the Easter holidays in, none other, than Gravesend! Lets make it a good send off! The venue and date will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for the amazing times and memories.

See you at the send off!

Lots of love from

Letters From London

Danny, John, Billy and Christian

Thanks again

It's quite clear you're from the other side

The side where asbo's are worn with pride

and me from the land of jaguars and cricket

the W.I and free bus Tickets oh oh

Velure and tweed i think we both agreed

don't look too good

we agreed indeed

but whatever we wear we'll look fine

as long as I am yours and you are mine

Romeo and you are Juliet

In the rain

But i don't mind getting wet

Romeo and you are Juliet

Make or break me

take forsake me

tell me quick girl

I'm a travelling banshee

Don't hold me up I've got the world to see

But i'll always keep a picture of you with me

If i take you out i might win you round

How does cherry lambrini and a big mac sound?

Then a sunset walk in dartford part

We can use your earrings when it gets dark

Romeo and you are Juliet

In the rain but i dont mind getting wet

Romeo and you are Juliet...

Alright chaps and chapesses, it's been a while since the last update so i hope everyone is doing well.

We've just got a new clubnight called 'The New Pollution' at the Tap n Tin. It's going to be a once a month affair, on a wednesday.

We're gonna be booking some great bands and dj's, ones we've met on our many travels, ones we love, and ones we know you will. It's an oppurtunity to see some of the best talent from around the country, on your doorstep.

It will be the best clubnight the Tap has ever seen. We promise that. If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding what bands/dj's/artists we should have, then please get in touch, as we want this clubnight to standout from the others and be full of the stuff you want.

So, for more information....

Get yourself on facebook and add it as a group. There will be more info shortly!!!

Current mood:  luminous

Hello there everyone! It's been a while i know, so i feel an update is in order...

We've been recording a few rough demos, trying out new songs and recording old tunes that we've somehow never got round to recording before, and they're sounding pretty good. We've put a couple up for download already (check em out if you haven't already), but the full mixes and other songs are on their way...

We recently got back from ZOO8, or POO8 as i have heard it called, but aside from it being an absolute shambles from start to finish, we had a great time and ended up playing two sets. We had the ultimate campsite, with my car, laden with supplies, parked 30 steps away from my tent, and within touching distance of the main arena. Shame about the leisurewear clad ladies camping next to us who were very rude indeed... "CAWAVAN FWIENDS!!!!". Nevertheless, we made some lovely fesitval fwiends such as 'girl who stole christian's shoes but then gave them back', 'Mexican girl & ginge/george from bromley' and lots of our myspace friends came out of the woodwork and said helloooooo which was nice. We also saw a Rasta getting his Jag searched which was jokessss. o how he did squirm.

We have a few festivals coming up soon as well, so check if you're going and come and watch us, it'll be great to see you there.

'Little Vagabond' is being used as a soundtrack to an advert for the spanish grand prix, although this is only being shown in spain!

And the eagle-eyed among you would have seen that it's also on the front cover of artrocker magazine this month, in a free c.d full of lovely bands and things so go out and buy it!

That's about it for now, but some interesting things lie ahead in the form of a Pub in Gravesend, for us and you, so watch this space....

Take care Krazy Kids

Only just found this...
basically cos Q's too grown up for us!

.................................................................................................................................

Track Of The Day

Not quite Londoners, Letters From London actually hail from Gravesend, Kent, but like other one-time suburbanites such as Brett Anderson and Pete Doherty, they exhibit an out-of-towner's fascination with the big smoke – note Little Vagabond's fetishistic references to "Chelsea smiles" and living "in the gaps between street-lamps".

Inveterate indie scenesters (they run a club night called Dancing Shoes And Skinny Ties), they'll slot neatly into the post-Libs vogue for all things rakish and London-centric, while singer John Sterry's easy, Luke Pritchard-esque vocals should make them a shoo-in for some One Night Only-style Radio 1 action when, inevitably, they get snaffled up by a major label.

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since the last blog so i feel an update is in order. A few new shows have been added to the calendar, including a stripped down acoustic show in G-TOWN which also happens to be FREE!!! NO CHARGE!!! MONEY REQUIRED: NONE!!! ENTRY PRICE DEVOID OF STERLING!!!

A few festivals have been added, with more to be added soon we suspect.

This week I have mostly been living it up in

Amsterdam

Swirling and whirling,
Stumbling and mumbling,
Giggling and singing,
Clattering and banging,
Munching weird looking things and falling asleep on the stairs.
So many red lights,
A veritable feast for my ivory soul.
O take me Lucifer!
I have fallen foul!
The curse of the forbidden fruit hath opened it's cavernous mouth and swallowed me whole.
So i went home,
Wrote my name on a globe,
And buried my head in a pint glass.

But it was pretty jokesss.

We're currently looking for a new venue for our clubnight 'Dancing Shoes Skinny Ties' so if you know of any places/venues in/near Gravesend, lease let us know! Ideally we want to get somewhere that will let ages 14+ in, as there's nowhere around here that does that and that is well bollocks.

There's only a few copies of our debut single left in Rough Trade so hurry if you haven't got one yet!!!

How is everyone? T'would be lovely to hear from you! I am bored like a strawberry in a broken blender.

Take care, and love your loved ones

First up, many thanks to everyone who came to our single launches, both in g-town and in New cross. they were both pretty jokesss (see video of stage invasion on our page). If you missed ’em, tis a pity, but we have just added a veritable feast of dates for you to catch up with. A couple of dates in the Amersham Arms with the Rats i’m personally lookin forward too, as i have been lucky enough to witness the beauty of their roasts. O they are a sight to behold. A few more festivals to be confirmed too....

The Raconteurs new album is amazing! If you haven’t heard it yet, you should, plus i think i may be in love with jack white. Is this wrong?

A video for little vagabond is in the editing stages and should be finished any time now, so you can feast your eyes on our sexual physiques, and is (atm) a mixture of the new cross and toilet factory gigs, so expect to see some familiar faces in there!

Im a bit pissed and just filled a cup with orange peel, so i’m gonna go now...

much love
