Hey there,

Thought I'd distract you from your Monday and give you a little update...

I've been hiding out in the studio for the past few months recording my new, 4th Album, "Births, Deaths & Marriages". I recently returned to LA from mixing two tracks at Wavelab Studios in Tuscon with Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Neko Case) and I'm pretty excited about the results.

I'll be heading back to SxSW in Austin, Texas, this month with a pressing of these new tracks in hand. If you're down there, come and catch one of my two showcases to check out the new songs live and grab a sampler.

First off, I'll be joining some of my favorite bands at this year's Little Radio Party. Head to Red Eyed Fly on Friday March 20 at 12:30pm for free Bloody Marys and Beer, to catch my set, and kick your day off in style.

Friday night sees me joining a crew of regular Hotel Cafe friends at the Spin It Indie night at the ONE 2 ONE BAR, 121 5th Street, Austin. I'll be playing with my new band from 7pm.
