some freestyle i did in a zombie poetry slam in burn city 0ct 08. sydney represent. got words from the crowd to get the brain juices flowing. name:lemon, job:banker, place:frankston(???) I cant understand what i said but they must have liked it coz i walked away with the win and a massive cash prize of $10. and they say rap dont pay.

I know i'm a bit slow but my debut single "Show em that you care" has been on light rotation on JJJ for the last 3 weeks. I think its got a few weeks to go and if you like the sound and wanna hear it more you could (hint hint) even request the damn song by phone or email. I thought i'd even give you the link just in case you were looking for a way to waste 4 mins of your time. It features P Smurf, Billie Rose and Sean Hall in case you were wondering.

if you've downloaded the track, or bought a copy, or come to a gig, or yelled obscenities at me while i'm onstage, or even rung and complained about the content of the Terrorism Remix to FBI radio (Yes its true! someone actually found that song offensive....i feel honoured), whatever. i just wanna thank you. One day I'll write some good songs and then you'll be proud of knowing me while I was still just regular down to earth loser.

just checked my stats and i realised i have ZERO readers of my blog.

thats right nil, nadda, zip, 0 ...any way you look at it, its still a small percentage of the overall population. By my calculation 6.7 billion people in the world, divided by 0 equals hummm 0%.

Now i could be slightly frustrated by this statistic. Gloomy and depressed at my disaffection by the wider myspace community, but instead i rejoice in the freedom that it allows me. I dont need readers, in fact i dont want readers. the less readers the better so that i can blog till my heart's content and not have to be criticised for my sentimental writing style and painfully ironic sense of humour.

so for that I thank you for choosing not to add my blog to your ever expanding myspace home.

debut single looking all pretty and that. 

the showem that you care single is done, handstamped packaging and all. you can pick one up for a miniscule amount at one of my gigs, i got a few hundred that i'm getting ready to part with.

i do feel a strange connection with the little cardboard squares and plastic discs. like me they're each slightly flawed, a frail sensitive disc, protected in a rough exterior and dressed in a bright sticker to exhibit an exuberant front to the wider public. oh what the hell....just come to my gig and buy a damn disc!!!!

also listen out for terrorism house of representatives remix getting a bit of air time on fbi. good times.

Finished my first song from forthcoming EP "Showem that you care"

just got it back from mastering and thought i should share it with the world.......but then i decided i don't have that much money so i'll just post it on myspace.

feels good to finally finish something.

ha ha i'm not washed up yet.

i've also just found out that i've got a little set at Peats Ridge Festival. As long as i'm not on at the same time as Buck 65 i will be very happy (otherwise i'll spend the whole set telling the crowd to go see buck which could be kind of awkward.....especially for those of you that hate buck.....shame on you!!!)
