Here's some of the dates for our 2009 summer tour.  A couple of the venues/towns are subject to change.  We'll be out until September 15th, cutting through the south, midwest, and entire west coast.  I'll have more dates, times, and bands we're playing with as information rolls in.  Yes!

We've been getting a good amount of emails about when the new record is going to be in stores. Well here's the update:

The Weight's brand new record "Are Men" will hit record stores across this great country on August 5th, thanks to our good friends over at Tee Pee Records, who have taken The Colonel Records on as a subsidiary. If you aren't familiar with Tee Pee, please go check them out and thank Tony for always looking out for the little guy! They have a long history of amazing releases.

We will be setting up a webstore in the next week or so (depending on how sunny it is outside, its hard to work in this beautiful spring weather). In this internet store there will be a pre-order of "Are Men" with a very limited shirt that just might be tie-dyed. Make sure you stay tuned so you can impress all your friends when they miss the boat on this amazing deal.

And lastly, we are playing our local record release show in Brooklyn Thursday night! We will have the record for sale there, as well as an extremely, extremely limited run of colored vinyl!! Check out the flyer our good friend Tom Gunz made.

The Weight's first full length in 5 years is at the printing press as I type this (hands shaking with excitement)!! Look for it in stores in late March via The Colonel Records, with a pre-order available in the next couple of days!

What should we do to celebrate this? Hmm? Umm.. I guess we're hittin the damn road! That's right kids, we're touring down to SXSW and if all goes according to plan we will have advance (possibly limited) copies of the record on tour with us. Take a look at the dates below, we'll be posting more info soon!
