Yep, the Antcomics are back!
Picking up again on the "Battle of the Bands" story arc previously in progress....

Hey Antcomics fanz!

Just a quick note to let you know that I am taking a break from Antcomics for awhile. Don't worry--they aren't gone forever! I jus decided to give it a rest and focus on another comic project I have started...you know, switch gears for a bit.

When the Ants come back from vacation, the story arc "Battle of the Bands" will continue. Meanwhile, the Boys are relaxing at the beach in sunny Florida...Terry Lee almost picked up a jellyfish the other day, but Marco stopped him in time.

Anyhow, now's a good time to reminisce and look through the archives (over 100 pages of Anty goodness!)...

Also I'd like to again plus the new Ant fansite, "Family of Noise" who has decided to use the Antcomics as illustrations for the site. I am just beyond flattered that they chose to do this, so thanks again guys. The banner with a link to the site appears on my profile page.

I'll let you guys know if Antcomics wins a DrunkDuck Award (see my last blog entry for details--the Antcomics made it into the finals in a couple of categories over there!).

Yess! Antcomics got nominated in two categories for the 2008 DrunkDuck Awards!

It's a finalist in:
*Best Parody/Satire Comic
*Best Traditional Art

WOOO!! Wish me luck! I am up against four other comics in each category and the competition is stiff...

Still though, just getting nominated is a helluvan honor! :D

That's right!

I am working on my 100th Ant page. Wow. It's been a year and about four months since I drew the very first Antcomic, and now I have actually hit 100! Wow.

For my 100th page, I am taking a break from the current storyline to do a big page with appearances by all the characters by the comic artists who have been faithful Antcomic fans (some since the very beginning).
