this sunday from 12.30 til 5pm there's a craft fair on
in 'aras chronain' and you are invited.
cards, candles, cakes, chutneys, jams, sewn goods,
glassworks, biscuits...
and probably fudge...
christmassy things that good folk have made.
so yes, it's a lovely way to spend a sunday and
there's great space for kids to run around out on the
grass too.
so be there if you can and also enjoy the weekend.

this saturday 8th september from 11am til 1pm in seomra spraoi we'll be making pin-cushions from bottle tops.
this is a simple and satisfying project but if you'd like to work on your own stuff that's fine too.
refreshments and materials provided just come along and treat yourself.

kate nolan is an accomplished photographer and we are lucky to have her with us before she embarks on a new journey with her work to wales.

we are back indoors again in the new location of
seomra spraoi. we have a lovely new room for our
crafts sessions, directly across the road from gary
rhodes' restaurant off capel st and so close to the
home of cheap and imaginative crafts supplies shop:
'evan's'. hooray!
so this first saturday of the month of august from
11am to 1pm we are making diorama's - indoors this
time.
materials will be provided (as best we can) and please
bring along anything you feel will be of use:
shoeboxes, figurines, stones, paper, paint,
glitter...you get the jist.
we'l lhave treats to eat and sip so pop in and have a
go at something, either this project or your own. the
place is there for sharing so let's make the most of
this saturday morning.

well...looks like the weather's about to improve - ah lovely!
seomra spraoi now has a new nest by capel st and a stone's throw from the wonderful evan's (supreme suppliers of arts and crafts materials - handy).
we'll be setting some projects to do there soon so until then keep it crafty xx

this saturday sees another 'cuppocrafts' session
outdoors...
we've swapped the seaside for a bit of gothic
daydreaming to be had in dublin's iveagh gardens and
for wha? i'll tell ya wha:
for to make a diorama don't you know.
yes, this craft will be demonstrated to you by the
lovely charlie.
the plan is to meet at the harcourt street entrance at
12am (weather permitting so please mother nature give
us a bleedin break).
all you need to do is bring the following (and
anything else that inspires you and pick a theme for
your piece) and enjoy the day:

1 x shoebox
paper, pencils, markers
scissors
images from magazines or photocopied
miniature figures
glitter
glue such as copydex or uhu
