ASHLEY COZINE is an actress and honors graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and Stonestreet Studios.  Her current films are DATE WITH DEATH (Storey Films), ABDUCTED (dir. Genevieve Pearson), CATCH (Indie City Entertainment), and TRUST ISSUES (Studio Trifusion) which will be released on the festival circuit later this year.  Prior to these projects, she performed the leading role of Allegra in the stage debut of Adam Syzmykowitz's PRETTY THEFT.  She recently modeled 15 pairs of jeans from Sheryl Crow's new line, an experience she call "heavenly."  http://myspace.com/ashleycozine

MAY 2008: Wrapped "Death Note" written and directed by David Storey - a phenomenal artist who also starred in and produced the piece.

MAY 2008: ABDUCTED is complete (dir. Genevieve Pearson).  I LOVE this film!!!

APRIL 2008:  Heading back to Seattle at the end of the month to view a Cast & Crew screening of TRUST ISSUES (dir. Zach Paul).

MARCH 2008:  Wrapped CATCH (dir. James Huffman).

JANUARY 2008: Cast in the second episode of Indie City Entertainment's Catch.com series.

DECEMBER 2007:  Portraying "Tiffany" - a vivacious party girl - opposite Maggie Shunk and Peter Voytko in the short "This Life" by Maggie Shunk.

NOVEMBER 17 2007: Cast as Lucinda in the new online drama ENVY by Deirdre McGill.  Production will begin in 2008.

NOVEMBER 12 2007:  Attended the first meeting of a new Actors Collective led by Jim Huffman. 

NOVEMBER 2007:  Currently cast in & developing the short films Abucted and DoubleTime with USC Film Alum director Genevieve Pearson. Production is slated for Spring/Summer 2008.

OCTOBER 20-28 2007:  Ashley will be in Seattle shooting TRUST ISSUES by Sacha Kenton (NYU Dramatic Writing Alum).  Find more info at http://trustissuesfilm.blogspot.com

AUGUST 2007:  Ashley appeared in a reading of Duane Hulbert & Judy Carlson's GO CINDY GO! - a new Cinderella story musical. 

AUGUST 2007:  LOVE & LONELINESS (formerly Slow Dancing) is ready for distribution. 

June 2007:  Production wrapped for "The Game" - a short pilot to be submitted to the New York Television Festival. 

April 2007:  Ashley will be starring as Allegra in "Pretty Theft" (a PNW Premiere) by Adam Szymkowicz with the Outsiders Inn Collective at Studio Current in Seattle.   $12 Admission.

Cast:
Ashley Cozine (ALLEGRA), Melissa Fenwick (SUZY), Katie Hewitt (LILY), Nik Perleros (JOE), Shane Regan (BOBBY), Don Taylor (MARCO), and Kara Whitney (MELODY).

Two recent high school graduates, Allegra and Suzy, work in a group home for the summer. Joe, an autistic man, is obsessed with ballerinas. There is some trouble in the group home. The girls take to the road to avoid a funeral, and run into the arms of a kidnapper with disturbing results.

ADAM SZYMKOWICZ (playwright)
is currently studying with Marsha Norman and Christopher Durang at The Juilliard School in the Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program. In 2004, he received his playwriting MFA from Columbia University where he was the Dean's Fellow. His work has been produced throughout the U.S., and in Canada, England and Lithuania. Plays include Deflowering Waldo, The Relationship Game, One Wednesday at West Haddam High, Someone I Don't Know, Open Minds, Anne, The Art Machine, Pretty Theft, Food For Fish, Herbie, Incendiary, Bee Eater and Nerve. Several of his plays have been published by Dramatists Play Service. Szymkowicz is a two-time Lecomte du Nouy Prize winner, a member of the Dramatists Guild, and of the Ars Nova Play Group.
