Wow...what a weekend, ey?
I'm probably going to say 'thank you' a million times during this blog but what the hell, we mean every single one of them. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our tiny little hearts, thank you. This past weekend has easily been the best time of our lives, and had the best shows we have ever played. So here's a little blog about what went on, how the shows went and what we got up to on our adventure to Leeds and allll the way down to Reading.
So, first we played Leeds on the Friday. We were a little worried that no one would turn out to see us, even though it was our home crowd. 10 minutes before we're due out on stage we take a peak and the crowd is huge, all nerves disappear and the adrenaline kicks in.....we're pumped up and ready. And, my god, what an awesome show that was! You guys ruled, gave us massive smiles for the rest of the weekend and made us feel so proud to be local lads. So, thank you (told you I'd be saying it a lot).
Saturday we got to hang out with friends, check out some sweet-ass bands (Biffy Clyro and Rage Against The Machine anyone?). To anyone that we didn't get to say 'hi' to, we're sorry. The weekend was rather crazy, and to be honest I did spend a lot of the day crashed out on the grass in the guest area trying to catch some rays/sleep.
Saturday night, after watching Rage, we drove down to Reading to the hotel we had booked and we saw signs for Reading Festival and once again nerves kicked in. We thought no one would turn out for Leeds, so imagine what we thought about Reading...we had never played that far south and it had been raining...
So, Sunday arrives and we gather our belongings and head for Reading. We arrive, its muddy and we don't know anyone at the festival apart from a couple of the Sion boys (who we thank for coming to support us). We walk out onto the stage, and there's around 50 people there, we smile at each other (hell its better than at nobody right?) and we start to play, we feel good about it, we start to rock out more (or camp it up more if you're me) and the crowd starts to grow. By the 3rd song the crowd is huge, bigger then Leeds and were really cool with us. By the end of the set we had even bigger grins on our faces and a lot more fans. So Reading we would like to salute you, you guys were awesome, and so responsive. So thank you.
During the weekend, we got the chance to meet a lot of cool people, some of them you can see in our Leeds and Reading festival picture folder such as Jack Black, Zane Lowe, The Rev etc. Some you won't have seen, such as Tony Cooke from Scream PR who we got to have a chat with even though he was very in demand, the guys from the BBC such as Toby Field, Alan Raw (who saved Dan when he lost his backstage pass and couldn't get in touch with any of us guys on Friday night, Alan you're a saviour!), Katie Noone & Lyndsay Boggis. All of whom helped us out before, during and after the weekend. All of you were so cool with us and with our band so we have to thank you all. Also we want to thank all the security, staff and stage guys and girls who helped us out with anything, everyone was awesome with us!!
As for shows etc. I'm sure we will be booking some very soon. As soon as anything gets confirmed, they'll be announced on here so keep checking back and keep spreading the word. It's because of you guys that we've got this far and we won't ever forget that.
Thank you. :-)

Hey everyone!
I’m sure a few of you are wondering what the hell we are doing with ourselves....no updates, no news of gigs/recordings etc. BUT WORRY NOT!!
We’ve just been waiting (very impatiently!) for the new CD to get finished and we’re almost there! Got all the mixes back and are just heading back in the next few days to put the final touches to it. Sorry it’s taken a lot longer than we expected, just had a few problems with the producer being on tour blah blah but we’re still alive don’t worry.
I’m going to stick up Mr Rockafella, so let me know what you think!
Hopefully by the end of March the CDs will be ready for sale, the myspace will be uploaded with some beautiful new photos and there’ll be some more news on our gig plans for the next 6 months.
We still love each and every one of you, and appreciate the continued support! Although it does appear we are being lazy fuckers, whilst we’ve been out of action we’ve been writing some really sexy new songs and are really excited to let you hear them.
Keep checking back for more news, it won’t be long now.
