Current mood:  eccentric
last night i realized how amazing ice cream is!!!!
but i cant eat it very often its super acidic and full of fat and sugar gross and great at the same time. 
thru all my crazy strict diets i found out that you must do your best but still take it with a grain of salt.
because its all good when you have amazing genetics, like me haha....
Amazing genetics lies within all of us it is our job to release what our ancestors and god have blessed us with. CHAVEZ/SANCHEZ CONQUISTADOR genes are what fuels me to be the best fighter in the world.
At this moment im laying in bed writing this blog because i watched state of play last night and russ crow was badass!!
and it inspired me to write more..
so i have these tight gunnar shades that protect your eyes from the computer.... for all you people wondering what the heck im talking about go to gunnaroptiks.com if you want to order some...
So back to why im laying here resting, i just had a amazing wrestiling training with olympic badass Bob Anderson he's this older wrestling coach hes 67 and he is one of the best he coached Dan Henderson to the silver and Rulon Gardner to the gold....
and im very blessed to cross paths ...
He has shown me greco before that i was more of a freestyle guy.
more importantly Bob is a leader for GOD......
but yes we "got it" today shark pit you just stay in the middle while all the team tries to whoop you when they are fresh.
SRJJA took first at nationals so bjj wise were the best in the country.. pound for pound the best in the world but we have a smaller team not like the thousand gracie barra competiters.
im feeling good at 185 and im not chuby either so looks like i will drop ten lbs this months and 5 in octeber then finish the water eight in the sauna....... i love cutting weight and getting in that sauna.... its a mental challange i almost seen god in the sauna before the guida fight i was 172 4 days before the fight and cut the weight between the 4 days,,,, but those last 2 pounds i was in the sauna holding saulos hand praying for god to take the weight off and when we were done praying. 
i checked my weight and it was .4 over i was like yes yes yes thank you jesus.....
Every fight is different and the camps change, everything is always changing and here i am evolving with the change! EVER EVOLVING...

well it feels good to be at the top of the division big strong and in shape.... i hired a new strenth and conditioning coach his name is steve maxwell he's a bjj blackbelt and my first workout with him i fell in love with his system...
My goals for the year were set 12/31/08 my 27th birthday...
they are: drop to lightweight dominte and fight for the belt at the end of the year and to be the most entertaining fighter on the planet with non stop action to the end and one more fighter of the year at the espys..
for all you natural born haters who laugh at that, with all the other great champions out there wow now that a goal right!!!

So i had fight of the year with guida,  and a mass of people have told me that that was the greatest fight they had ever seen..
thank you clay for your abnormaly HUGE heart, 

although lets get this clear that was not a split decsion WHAT lol that girl judge must not have recognized the damage i was doing in the second round, i think cutting someone 5 times in one round its pretty obvious i was winning the fight from the bottom, and round one was a 10-8 round....it happens i think they just wanted build up for tv being it was on spike.... yes ratings were awsome as always..
just wait me and bj will do HUGE ratings... ufc100 is the rec with a 1.6 million 

  All the fans who believe and follow me its been a amazing ten years in the cage the next ten will be even sweeter!!!!!!

was a unbelivable wow double wow but i always knew where i was going zero doubt is the key to making shit happen like  my friend Charles MASK Lewis always said simply belive......

Yesterday, I became an official Saulo Ribeiro Brown Belt. I am honored to finally be a part of REAL Gracie BJJ after Royler Gracie tied my brown belt after Saulo promoted me. The icing on the cake was that my hero Rickson Gracie was there watching me and congratulated me.

Hey everyone,
I'm back in San Diego, after a rewarding trip to London for UFC 95. First off, I want to thank everyone who cheered me on, I could feel all of the positive energy in the octagon and appreciate everyone. I hope you found the fight exciting- I tried my best for you guys. My hand is not broken, so that's a good thing.

I was also looking for some help for the Diego Sanchez team! I really want to fix up my car and get a new audio system in it. I have a Scion xB hatchback. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out!~!!!! Hopefully in the San Diego area.

Also, I'm looking for a female pitbull puppy, preferably in the San Diego area..

If you can help me with either of those, just send me a message and put either "scion" or "puppy" as the subject!!!! I feel so blessed by the Lord. THANKS SO MUCH AND KEEP YOUR EYES OUT FOR THE NIGHTMARE.

Right now I'm training my hardest in Reno. As most of you know, I was blessed with being given the main event at UFC 95. I'm not going to London to lose.
