Im in switzerland right now , and the album is coming along great, weve got the rough mix of the first track 'spur' up right now. Im trying to get a lot of friends to add certain things to this album, for instance on spur the 3rd guitar solo is by our friend chris hamilton. so far the tracks that will be on the album are called:
spur
bringing us down
everythings allright
just enough
doctors lips
hypochondriate
2001-2007
the places you didnt know existed
07
red sky in budapest
sekhmet
im hoping to have the album ready by october, but we may be redoing the drums in switzerland, so ill update.....tonight we play our first show if the summer in switzerland, at a street festival in Chur. we have christoph from Made in Mind playing 2nd guitars, and Luki from KRUK on bass, they are both really great players, and we are really excited to hit the stage with them. Wish us Luck!

We have started our new new album this week ( I said new twice because we started it last september, and scrapped everything to start again). What to expect? more guitars, more solo’s, more variety, more prog, more vocals. I know things have been quiet in our camp for a while, but weve got a fire under our asses, and we are going to get this album out, and then we’ll see what the future holds.
I will post a new track before the middle of May (no promises but I will try!!) and after that before July we are hoping to have a 6 song record out, or we might hold out for a full album. we have 9 new songs in various stages in the band, and I have 4 more in my little notebook at home. But we are going to try and put out the best record vancouver’s ever seen.
While Im at it, i want to tell everyone to GET OUT AND WATCH LOCAL BANDS!!!! where are the random people who just want to see good local music? Im not even talking about the glim boys, im talking about any good vancouver band. I know a lot of bands around here that deserve a lot more than they get, they play little shows to a few people while some poser’s who are claiming to be "rock n roll" ( I hate that word) get a record deal because they’re buddies with some A&R guy at a label. Fuck that. come see some local bands people!!!
Later...

So it is time, we are slowly getting our asses over to SWITZERLAND where we will spend a couple days getting gear and all that good stuff. That's if they let us through customs with 100 shirts, 400 cd's, drum shit, guitars etc. in our suitcases. If you are interested check back every few days for updates starting a week today, it's like reality TV minus the lame actors and staged scenarios.
