Hi friends. On our page here at MySpace we've put up a widget that points to our profile at ReverbNation.com. With in this widget window you can access many online songs, read our biography and follow what's going on with the band. Please give the playlist a go and check out our profile page. In the next couple of weeks we'll be putting up a brand new instrumental song there for people to download free of charge! Make sure you don't miss this one, register @ ReverbNation.com and add us to your favorites. Also it wouldn't hurt to sign up for our mailing list - we'll be giving out some prizes to lucky mailing list recipients this summer, more information will be given later. For information on how to sign up, check this blog post from our MySpace blog. The album has been put on hold somewhat since Gísli does not find himself within the band anymore. We're seeking a replacement and hopefully we can confirm a new hire soon as we get the ball rolling on finishing up the recordings. Don't forget to check out: reverbnation.com/darkharvestonline

Today we are entering studio and will be starting recording our upcoming album. We will have a two day session where the main focus will be on finishing the drum tracks and laying down as much of the guitar as we'll have time to do. Bass and vocals will be recorded in the next couple of weeks or so. We'll be having one or two gigs early next month to help us finance the recordings. We've already booked 800 Bar in Selfoss on April 3d along with Nágöll and a couple of other local bands. Please visit our ReverbNation page for information on future gigs.

We've added a new demo song to our song list. The new song, Two More, was recorded by Guðni at Studio Dýflissan in Ármúli, Reykjavík, in December 2008. Mixing was done by Silli Geirdal in mid January 2009. The throat singing in the intro was performed by Böðvar Gunnarsson.
Check it out and add it to your daily fix of rock & roll!

Due to our lazy nature there's not been any updates on the band's lineup. Those that have been attending our gigs this summer may have noticed that the band's been performing as a four-piece, since we've convinced Gísli to stay with the band and continue the work for our next album. Kristján, our drummer, will be moving from Akureyri to Reykjavík in the next few weeks which should make rehearsals a more regular feature. We've got some gigs planed in the autumn, more news on that later.

Dark Harvest will be seeking a new vocalist in the summer as Gísli has left the band to focus on other projects. There are some plans for a new album this year and we have a short list of vocalists that we'd like to try out. However if you feel like you're the right man/woman for the job - do not hesitate to drop us a line here on MySpace or via email. But there have been more changes. Kristján, the red haired wonder, has rejoined the band and we welcome him back to the Dark Harvest fold. Since Kristján lives in the wrong end of the country, rehearsals will be few and far between. It's a good thing we're so darn good, hah! Ok that was a joke. More details on plans for the new album and upcoming gigs will be posted later.
