Big Pink Cake's all weekender will kick off at The Cube Cinema on Saturday 11th July We think The Cube is one of the nicest venues in Bristol. we had so much fun there in February, that doing something again in the Summer seemed kind of the right thing to do.

Bands playing for the afternoon session are: The Short Stories, The Hi-Life Companion, The Pete Green Corporate Jugganaut, Countryside and Secret Shine

Moving into the cinema for the evening the following bands are playing: Electrophonvintage, Vanilla Ride, The Westfield Mining Disaster, Amida, Santa Dog and Pocketbooks (bands to finish @ 11pm).

Big Pink Cake Presents: Electrophonvintage, The Hi-Life Companion and Amida at The Hatchet. What a great night! All three bands were absolutely brilliant and it at ended far too soon. Thanks to all who came, here's a few photos of the evening. Many thanks to Rocker to taking them, djing and being an absolute legend.

Big Pink Cake presents a feast of indiepop and relevant stuff that makes us feel alive! Think jangling guitars, falling and laughing, heartbreak, fizzy lemonade, sensitivity, Summer meadows and falling in love with someone who doesn't even know you exist.
Big Pink Cake is a club for people who love indiepop old and new, 60's girl groups, heartbreak, Tamla Motown and the poppier moments of punk.
Big Pink Cake is happening on Saturday 13th October 2007 downstairs at The Crown 10 All Saints Lane in Bristol (BS1) 10pm-3am. Special guest DJ: Gregory Webster (Razorcuts) Entrance will cost £3 for what can only be described as a night that Bristol trully deserves and is long overdue.
