As Long As The Moment Remixed: EP 3 – OUT NOW (12” Vinyl & Digital)

This is the third EP in the series, showcasing perhaps the deepest experimentation of the entire project with the Believe remixes, by two of the techno and minimal world’s most respected figures: Pheek and Someone Else.

From Montreal, Pheek is the brains of the Archipel operation, a collection of musicians and designers all with collective creative focus. Pheek goes deep with his mix, shattering the vocal then piecing it back together on top of a throbmatic groove. The devil is in the detail.

FoundSound owner Someone Else (aka Sean O’Neal) we’re convinced, owns his own hadron collider and in an experiment gone horribly right has smashed the atoms of minimal and progressive house together to create a deep dancefloor bomb. This is late night sound system music at it’s best and just in case you can't get enough of the groove (or can’t get into the vox) then there’s a bonus beats mix.

1. Believe. Pheek’s Reconstructed Remix.
2. Believe. Someone Else’s Vox Mix.
3. Believe. Saint iBot's Senkeisen Edit.
4. Believe. Someone Else’s Beats Mix

Reviews include:

Andrew Grant - Ed Davenport remix is a BOMB!

Anil Chawla – Liking the Ed Davenport remix, tres tasty

D. Ramirez – Deepness! I love it. Nice Bass

Dave Seaman – It’s all about Nick’s mix here. Dark and brooding. Top Job.

Dennis Karimani (Remute/Error Error)  - Ed davenport's remix is my favourite here! Excellent work!

Ed Davenport – I loooove Mark’s Remix. Really excited to have this to play out.

breathtaking.

Trafik – One Of Them’s version is a stand out remix, tough dark brooding stomper!

DMC Update....

Second part of the remix series dealing with Chris's acclaimed 2007 album of the same name features both heroes and promising new names to groin-hoisting effect. Ed 'Szenario' Davenport kicks off by lashing the title track's floatation melodies over a minimal chug before Mark Henning, who recently impressed on Soma with the Jupiter Jive album, straps on his mighty blow-torch for some typically-abrasive clang-action on 'Quote Unquote', whipping up a mesmerisingly-deep atmosphere. There's also downloads of Komposit tackling 'Belt Seat Fasten' and One Of Them reupholstering 'Deviated Septum'. And there's much more to come!

Kris Needs – 4 Dancing Men....

IDJ Magazine – Progressive/Jose – has reviewed for the October issue – 4/5....

Fortier’s recent album is getting the full-on remix treatment with this, the second EP in a series from EQ. Up first we have Ed Davenport’s take of ‘As Long As The Moment Exists’ which is exquisite using the original’s spellbinding soundscapes above deep, delectable drums in a mix finding favour with Cattaneo and M.A.N.DY. Mark Henning’s remix of ’Quote Unquote’ is a rumbling, hypnotic take with low-end sounds dominating. Habersham in his new guise Komposit turns in a groovy, electronica mix of ’Belt Seat Fasten’ while Nick Dalagelis’ One of Them mix of ‘Deviated Septum’ is a rolling acid-fuelled monster. ....

www.clubbingmagazine.com (....Denmark....) – Christian (Ed) – news online / + review ....

The second out four EP..s from Chris Fortier..s debut album includes the brilliant mix of the title track “As Long As Moment Exists” by upcoming producer Ed Davenport. He takes the track and builds it up slowly into a masterful 10 minute journey. Mark Henning takes on “Quote Unquote” into funky dark territories. Also included in the release are two download only tracks remixed by One Of Them and Komposit. (CA) Rating: 9/10....

Quantize Radio (www.quantize.co.uk) - Jamie Jay....

“Will be supporting this - Chris Fortier - As Long As The Moment Exists (Ed Davenport Mix)”....

Radio Brussel (....Belgium....) – Tomaz....

“Ed Davenport and M.Hennings remixes are great. Playing them out!”....

TOP Radio (....Belgium....) – Hans T

“Ed Davenport’s mix sounds pretty cool, nice flow in the track, great atmosphere.”....

Twen FM & Various (....Berlin....) – Ed2000....

This is the first EP from a special remix project featuring four artists that need little in the way of introduction: Error Error, Bruno Pronsato, Perc and Ink & Needle.

Error Error, aka Denis Karimani (Remute) & Pelle Buys (Einmusic) deliver house, rave and everything in between in this 12 minute interpretation of Sunday Is A Travel Day. Charted at 1 by John Digweed in March.

Bruno Pronsato, hot on the heels of his 2nd artist album describes his remix of As Long As The Moment Exists as very relaxing. We think it's massive-passive. Deep subs and spooky textures peppered with intricate percussion and arranged into slick set-opener style, this mix has been receiving enthusiastic responses from DJ's and dancefloors around the globe.

If Tech-House was a company, Ali 'Perc' Wells would be on the board of directors. He's turned in a strictly business mix of Don't Hide What You Believe, complete with rollin' sub bass, robo-groove and dubby percussion...AND manages to maintain the mood from Chris' original. A 3am bomb.

...& last but by no means least, under the counter project 'Ink & Needle,' with recent appearances on compilations like Transitions and Balance round off the EP with a top-shelf progressive rub of Sunday Is A Travel Day.

Now available on 12" vinyl through Intergroove, and Beatport.
